Michael Edward "Peter" Kennedy III is an American retired pair skater. Although named Michael, he was nicknamed Peter as a child, and has been credited in competition by both names. With his sister, Karol, he won five U.S. Championship titles from 1948–1952. Known as "The Kennedy Kids," they won the World Championship in 1950, and the silver medal in the 1952 Winter Olympics. He was born in Olympia, Washington.
Peter Nocke is a retired freestyle swimmer, who represented West Germany at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There he won the bronze medal in the men's 100 m freestyle. Nocke won a total number of nine European titles during the 1970s.

Liam John Tancock is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships, and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. He specialised in backstroke and individual medley events. He is a three-time world champion and a four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, and held the world record in the 50-metre backstroke for almost a decade.
Claude "Sandy" Saunders was a Canadian rower who competed in the Olympic games in 1936 in Berlin. He competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Men's eight, but did not win a medal. He was also a spare at the 1948 Summer Olympics and coached Canada's rowing team at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games and the 1960 Summer Olympics. He was Canada's FISU representative at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics. He was also president of the Central Ontario Rowing Association, the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association and the Canadian Amateur Association of Oarsmen. Saunders was the first Canadian to hold a referee's license from the International Rowing Federation. Saunders was born in Hamilton, Ontario. At the time of his death, he was Canada's second-oldest living Olympic competitor, behind Betty Tancock.
Peter Thomsen is a German eventing rider. He won the gold medal in team eventing at the 2008 Summer Olympics with his horse The Ghost of Hamish, and again at the 2012 Summer Olympics with his horse Barny.
Dr. Péter Tóth was a Hungarian fencer who competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games and at the 1908, 1912 and 1928 Olympics. He won team gold medals in sabre in 1908 and 1912, finishing fifth-sixth individually; he won an individual bronze medal in the sabre three hits event in 1906. In 1928 he placed fifth in the team foil. Domestically Tóth won 17 Hungarian foil and sabre titles between 1907 and 1934, and competed until 1937.
Peter Neusel was a German rower who had his best achievements in the coxed fours. In this event he won a world title in 1962, a European title in 1963 and a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics. He died on 22 July 2021, at the age of 79.
