Petri Nummela (born 17 June 1971 in Hollola) is a Finnish sport shooter. [2] He was selected to compete for Finland at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing fourteenth in trap shooting. [1] [3] Having pursued the sport since the age of fourteen, Nummela trained full-time for Lahti Shooting Club (Finnish : Lahden Ampumaseura) in Lahti under his personal coach and brother Matti Nummela. Nummela qualified for the Finnish squad in the men's trap at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Few months before the Games, he finished third at the World Cup meet in Sydney to occupy the Olympic quota place won by his compatriot Tommi Andelin, who had attained a minimum qualifying score of 120, from the 2002 World Championships in Lahti. [1] Nummela got off to a powerful start by firing 73 out of 75 targets to secure a top finish on the first day, but his final rounds of a perfect 25 and a dismal 19-clay pigeon hit on the following day left him out from the top of the leaderboard to share a fourteenth-place tie with four other shooters, tallying a total record of 117. William Chetcuti is a Maltese sport shooter who specializes in the double trap. He won the 2011 World Cup event in Beijing and the 2004 European Junior Championship where he set what is still a world record. He was the first Maltese shooter to win a World Cup medal.

Yelena Anatolyevna Tkach is a Russian sport shooter. Representing the former Soviet Union, Tkach won a silver medal in the women's double trap at the 1991 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Perth, Australia, with a total score of 121 clay pigeons. She also defeated Lithuania's Daina Gudzinevičiūtė by one point for the gold medal in the women's trap at the 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Lahti, Finland, accumulating a score of 93 targets. Tkach is also a member of the shooting team for Dynamo Voronezh, and is coached and trained by her teammate and two-time Olympian Maxim Kosarev.
Fátima Gálvez Marín is a Spanish sport shooter. She was the World champion in the individual trap event at the 2015 World Shotgun Championships, and won the Olympic champion in the team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Lin Yi-chun is a Taiwanese sport shooter. She won two medals, gold and silver, in the women's double trap, at the 2001 and 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo, Egypt and Lahti, Finland, respectively. She also captured a bronze medal in the women's trap at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, accumulating a score of 80 clay pigeons and a bonus of 1 target from a shoot-off. She won gold at the 2023 ISSF World Shooting Championships in trap.
Rodrigo Pimentel Bastos is a Brazilian sport shooter. He represented his nation Brazil in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also picked up a silver medal in men's trap at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Emanuela Felici is a Sammarinese sport shooter. She represented her nation San Marino in two editions of the Olympic Games, finishing seventh each in the process. Considered one of the world's top female trap shooters, Felici pocketed two career bronze medals at the 2002 European Championships in Lonato del Garda, Italy, and at the 2007 ISSF World Cup Series in Maribor, Slovenia.
Taeko Takeba is a Japanese trap shooter. She won a gold medal in the women's trap at the 2001 ISSF World Cup final in Doha, Qatar, achieved a fifth-place finish at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and represented her nation Japan in two editions of the Olympic Games. Having started the sport since the age of 14, Stranovska trained as a member of the shooting team for the Slovak Republic State Sport Representation Centre of Interior Ministry in Bratislava under personal coach Juraj Sedlak.
Maarit Hillevi Lepomäki is a Finnish sport shooter. She produced a career tally of nine medals, including a silver in skeet shooting at the 2004 ISSF World Cup final in Maribor, Slovenia, and was selected to compete for Finland in two editions of the Olympic Games.
Joonas Olkkonen is a Finnish sport shooter. He claimed the bronze medal in double trap shooting when his birthplace Lahti hosted the 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships, and was selected to compete for Finland at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing last out of twenty-five prospective shooters. Having pursued the sport since the age of thirteen, Olkkonen trained full-time for Lahti Shooting Club in Lahti under his personal coach Kari Olin.
Khaled Al-Mudhaf is a Kuwaiti sport shooter. He captured the men's trap title at the 2002 ISSF World Championships in Lahti, Finland, and finished in the top six respectively on two successive editions of the Olympic Games. Apart from his World championship title, Al-Mudhaf also collected fourteen more medals to his career record, including two from the Asian Games. Al-Mudhaf is a member of the Kuwait City Shooting Club, where he trains full-time under Russian-born coach Rustam Yambulatov.
Custódio Ribeiro Ezequiel is a Portuguese sport shooter. He was selected to compete for Portugal in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also produced a career tally of three medals, two golds and one bronze, at the ISSF World Cup series. Ezequiel is a member of Vilamoura Shooting Club.
Nidal Asmar is a Lebanese-born Australian sport shooter. Holding his dual citizenship to compete internationally for his native homeland, Asmar placed fourteenth in trap shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and eventually shot a perfect 125 to break his own world record at the 2007 Australian Cup in his current residence Melbourne, Australia.

She has been selected to compete for Italy at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and has established a career tally of eighteen medals in a major international competition, including a world-record breaking gold at the 1998 ISSF World Cup meet in Cairo, Egypt and a silver in women's trap at the 2003 World Shotgun Championships in Nicosia, Cyprus. Pelosi is a member of Valle Aniene Target Shooting Club, and a resident athlete of the Italian Clay Shooting Federation, where she trains under head coach and 1996 Olympic double trap medalist Albano Pera.

Sena is a member of her town's firing shooting range, and also, a resident athlete of the Italy national shooting team under Swiss-born rifle head coach and five-time Olympian Gabriele Bühlmann.

He won a bronze medal in rapid fire pistol shooting at the 2002 ISSF World Championships in Lahti, Finland, and was selected to compete for Switzerland at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing in twelfth place.
