Philip Rauscher (born June 2, 1985) is an American football coach who is currently the offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos.
Rauscher was a lineman at UCLA from 2003 to 2005, before an injury suffered in high school reappeared and forced him to retire. [1]
Rauscher stayed with UCLA as an undergraduate assistant at the request of Bruins head coach Karl Dorrell and offensive coordinator Tom Cable. [1] After graduating, he remained with the program as a graduate assistant before going on to Dixie State as their offensive coordinator in 2010. He was an administrative assistant at Utah in 2011 for Utes offensive coordinator Norm Chow, who was UCLA's offensive coordinator when Rauscher was a graduate assistant. [2]
After Chow was named the head coach at Hawaii in 2012, Rauscher was named the program's tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator. [2] He was not retained by Chow and Hawaii after the 2013 season. [3] Rauscher spent 2014 as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Cal Lutheran.
Rauscher was hired as a coaching assistant for the Denver Broncos in 2015. He was a part of the staff that won Super Bowl 50 in 2016, Rauscher's first career Super Bowl ring. [4] He was named the assistant to head coach Vance Joseph in 2017. [5]
Rauscher was named the assistant offensive line coach for the Washington Redskins on March 20, 2018. [6] He was promoted to offensive line coach during the 2019 season after offensive line coach Bill Callahan was named the Redskins interim head coach. [7]
Rauscher was announced as the assistant offensive line coach for the Minnesota Vikings on January 27, 2020. [8] He was promoted to offensive line coach on July 27, 2021 after Rick Dennison was reassigned to senior offensive adviser due to a lack of a Covid-19 vaccination. [9]
On February 17, 2022, Rauscher was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their offensive line coach under head coach Doug Pederson. [10] Rauscher also became the team’s run game coordinator starting in the 2024 season. [11]
Michael Edward Shanahan is an American football coach, best known as the head coach of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2008. During his fourteen seasons with the Broncos, he led the team to two consecutive Super Bowl victories in XXXII and XXXIII; along with being the first Super Bowl championships in team history, they were the seventh team to win consecutive Super Bowls in NFL history. His head coaching career spanned a total of twenty seasons and also included stints with the Los Angeles Raiders and Washington Redskins. He is the father of San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Norval Turner is a former American football coach in the National Football League (NFL). An offensive assistant for the majority of his coaching career, Turner was the Dallas Cowboys' offensive coordinator during their consecutive Super Bowl victories in Super Bowl XXVII and Super Bowl XXVIII.
Ernest Dominic Capers is an American football coach who is a senior defensive assistant for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously the inaugural head coach of the Panthers and the Houston Texans for four seasons each. Capers is the only head coach to lead two different NFL expansion teams during their first seasons.
Darrell Wayne Bevell is an American football coach who is the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. Bevell played college football for the University of Wisconsin, where he was a four-year starting quarterback.

He is a former quarterback, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for multiple NFL teams. He played college football for the Oregon Ducks, earning all-conference honors in the Pac-10. He is also the uncle of Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave.
Rick Steven Dennison is an American football coach and former linebacker who is currently the senior offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints. He was the offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2019 to 2020. An assistant in the NFL since 1995, he served as offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans (2010–2013), and Buffalo Bills (2017), and served as quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. He was the special teams coach for the Super Bowl Champion Broncos in 1997 and 1998. A linebacker who spent his entire NFL playing career in Denver from 1982 to 1990, he appeared in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV.

A former long-time assistant and descendant of the Shanahan coaching tree, McDaniel began his NFL coaching career as an intern for the Denver Broncos in 2005. McDaniel served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers from 2017 to 2021, holding his first offensive coordinator position in 2021.
