Photographs is the debut release of Lakes, lead singer and guitarist Seth Roberts' newest ensemble after his first group Watashi Wa disbanded in 2004. Itas first performed at the Cornerstone festival in 2006, where L the bandlso sold a limited number (200 copies) of the EP. The first public release was on August 3, 2006 in a digital format, as an Absolute Punk exclusive. [1] The band and label maintain the physical release date of September 5, 2006 as the official release date.

The Toasters are one of the original American second wave of ska bands. Founded in New York City in 1981, the band has released nine studio albums, primarily through Moon Ska Records.
The Briggs are a punk rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. The Band Formed in 1999 under the name "I Decline" by brothers Joey and Jason LaRocca and bassist Matthew Stolarz. In 2001, with the addition of drummer Chris Arredondo the band adopted the name The Briggs. Since the band started touring, they have shared the stage with the likes of Dropkick Murphys, Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, and Flogging Molly. They have also been involved with The Vans Warped Tour in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2008. The Briggs released their fourth full length album, Come All You Madmen, on SideOneDummy Records on June 17, 2008. Their song "This is LA" is played as part of the introduction for the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Los Angeles Kings at all of their home games. Their song "Harder To Stand" from the album Back to Higher Ground was featured in the soundtrack to the film Big Stan (2008). After a short hiatus, the band returned to the studio in 2012 and will be releasing the song and video for "Panic" on May 1, 2012. In the Spring of 2015, The Briggs released a new self-titled 4 song EP. It was self-released by the band on 7", and the CD and digital download version included their previously released single "Panic".

Just Surrender is an American rock band from Dover Plains, New York, formerly known as A Second Chance. Just Surrender was formed by three high school friends from Dover High School in Dover Plains, New York, Jason "Jay" Maffucci, Andy Meunier, and Steve Miller. Vocalist/guitarist Dan Simons, formerly of The Record Collection, joined the original three members; the group was a four-piece until 2008. The band is known for the up-beat mood in their music, and for not having a lead vocalist, but rather having two vocalists who "share the spotlight." The Ransom EP is the debut EP by American rock band Cartel. The recording was originally released independently, but was soon picked up by the record label, The Militia Group. They re-released the EP with two extra tracks, "The City Never Sleeps" and "Fiend".
The indie rock band Umbrellas was formed in 2005 by former The Lyndsay Diaries frontman, Scott Windsor. After they fulfilled their contract with The Militia Group, freeing them up to record and release their Beach Front Property EP in June 2007. Their sound is, at times, very mellow and atmospheric, yet can also lean toward a more modern/electro-pop sound. With their debut album recorded in a pseudo-haunted house, and their second album recorded in an abandoned comedy club, there are auras of emptiness and darkness swirling throughout the music. Their song "The City Lights" was featured during the climax of the Grey's Anatomy episode "Into You Like A Train," and "Ships" was featured during the Grey's Anatomy episode "Great Expectations, as well as the 7th episode of the 1st season of the tv series "Jericho"."
Eager Seas is an American indie rock band, formed in June 2006 in Atascadero, California, consisting mainly of the former band members of Watashi Wa. They were signed to The Militia Group and on September 5, 2006, released a five-song EP named Photographs EP. They are now independent as of their latest release in 2018
Between the Trees was an American rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2005. The band consisted of vocalist/guitarist Ryan Kirkland, lead guitarist Brad Kriebel, drummer Josh Butler and bassist Jeremy Butler.
Kylesa is an American heavy metal band that was formed in Savannah, Georgia. Their music incorporates experimentalism with heavy riffs, drop-tuned guitars and elements of psychedelic rock. The group was established in 2001 by the former members of Damad, with the addition of guitar player Laura Pleasants who is from North Carolina. The band has since undergone line up changes; the remaining original members are Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants. In 2006, the band added two drummers.
