The town of Phrao or "Wiang Phrao" is home to the district headquarters of Phrao District in the far northeast of Chiang Mai province.

Lat Phrao Road is one main road in Bangkok, Thailand. Despite its name the road does not run through the nearby Lat Phrao District. It begins at Phahonyothin Road, at the corners of the Lat Phrao Square, CentralPlaza Ladprao, and Union Mall in Chatuchak District, passes through Huai Khwang and Wang Thonglang Districts, and ends in Bang Kapi District. The road is serviced by two MRT Blue Line stations: Phahon Yothin and Lat Phrao. The MRT Yellow Line meanwhile runs along the road from YL01 Lat Phrao to YL08 Bang Kapi stations. The BTS Skytrain also serves this road at Ha Yaek Lat Phrao station.

Lat Phrao Intersection is a major road junction in Chatuchak District of the Thai capital Bangkok. It is where Phahonyothin and Vibhavadi Rangsit roads—the city's two main northward highways—cross each other, and is also the beginning of Lat Phrao Road, which leads eastward through its highly populated suburbs. The junction carries the second-highest amount of road traffic in the city.

Nong Phrao Ngai is one of the seven subdistricts (tambon) of Sai Noi District, in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. Neighbouring subdistricts are Thawi Watthana, Bang Khu Rat, Ban Mai, Khlong Yong and Naraphirom. In 2020 it had a total population of 7,595 people.
