Pierce County High School is the only public high school located in Blackshear, Georgia, United States. The school is part of the Pierce County School District, which serves Pierce County.
Pierce County High School opened in 1981 following the merger of Blackshear High School and Patterson High School.
The Pierce County Sound of Silver Marching Band won grand champion at the Royal City classic in 2007, the Blue and Gray Festival in 2009, and a nationally scored competition in Orange Park Florida in 2010. They won 32 Superior rankings for all 2014 marching band competitions. They hosted the state's largest marching competition, with 24 bands total.
PCHS won State Forestry Field Day titles in 1982, 1983, and 1988. In 1986, Tony Waller was a member of Georgia's National Champion Forestry Team.

Lahser High School was a high school in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan, near Bloomfield Hills and in Greater Detroit. It was a part of Bloomfield Hills Schools. The school was opened in 1967. At the time it had 200 students, and enrollment later reached almost 900 students. In 2010, the decision was made to merge the school with sister school Andover High School, on Andover's grounds. In 2020, it was decided that the Lahser campus would become the site of Bloomfield Hills Middle School North following a successful bond proposal. The football program had five consecutive playoff-eligible seasons, 2002–2006, in both class 3 and class 2 MHSAA competition.

Stetson Fleming Bennett IV is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Jones College and Georgia. Nicknamed "the Mailman", he started his career as a walk-on at Georgia before transferring to Jones College. Bennett transferred back to Georgia where he won consecutive national championships in 2021 and 2022, joining A. J. McCarron and Tommie Frazier as the only quarterbacks to win consecutive NCAA national championships.
