Pierre Edmond Piasecki (born 3 June 1985) is a French sports shooter. He placed sixth in the 10 metre air rifle event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [1] He works as a customs officer. [2]
The modern Olympic Games or Olympics are the leading international sporting events featuring summer and winter sports competitions in which thousands of athletes from around the world participate in a variety of competitions. The Olympic Games are considered the world's foremost sports competition with more than 200 teams, representing sovereign states and territories, participating. By default, the Games generally substitute for any world championships during the year in which they take place. The Olympic Games are held every four years. Since 1994, they have alternated between the Summer and Winter Olympics every two years during the four-year Olympiad.
The 1948 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XIV Olympiad and officially branded as London 1948, were an international multi-sport event held from 29 July to 14 August 1948 in London, United Kingdom. Following a twelve-year hiatus caused by the outbreak of World War II, these were the first Summer Olympics held since the 1936 Games in Berlin. The 1940 Olympic Games had been scheduled for Tokyo and then for Helsinki, while the 1944 Olympic Games had been provisionally planned for London. This was the second time London hosted the Olympic Games, having previously hosted them in 1908, forty years earlier. The Olympics would return again to London 64 years later in 2012, making London the first city to host the games thrice, and the only such city until Paris and Los Angeles host their third games in 2024 and 2028, respectively. The 1948 Olympic Games were also the first of two summer Games held under the IOC presidency of Sigfrid Edström.

The track and field athletes qualified for the Games by meeting qualification standards while the remaining four made the Olympics through wildcard places. Niyonshuti was the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. No athletes were able to achieve medals at the London Olympic Games.

He represented France, along with his partner Vincent Garos at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and has also been training under the yachting team for ASPTT Nantes throughout most of his sporting career. As of September 2014, Leboucher is ranked tenth in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the 2012 and 2013 470 World Championships and ISAF World Cup series.
Pierre-Alexis Ponsot is a French sailor, who specialized in two-person keelboat (Star) class. He represented France, along with his partner and six-time Olympian Xavier Rohart at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and has also been training for Ouest Nautical Sports Club throughout most of his sporting career. As of September 2014, Leboucher is ranked forty-first in the world for fleet racing and keelboat by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships and 2012 Star World Championships.
Patryk Piasecki is a Polish former sailor, who specialized in the two-person dinghy (470) class. Together with his partner and eventual three-time Olympian Kacper Ziemiński, he was named one of the country's top sailors in the double-handed dinghy for the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in a lowly eighteenth place. Piasecki also served as a senior member of the sailing roster at the University of Warmia and Mazury's sport academy in Olsztyn.
