Piet van der Kuil (born 10 February 1933 in Velsen) is a former Dutch footballer and the owner of a football school in Velsen. He was part of the Dutch squad at the 1952 Summer Olympics. [1]

Gerardus Henricus "Puck" van Heel was a Dutch footballer. He earned 64 caps for the Netherlands national football team, and played in the 1934 and 1938 World Cups. Normally an inside left or left wing half, Van Heel was a slow player but possessed considerable vision and technical ability and was particularly good passer.

Hülya Kat is a Dutch politician, serving as a member of the House of Representatives on behalf of the social liberal party Democrats 66 (D66). She was a member of the Velsen municipal council between 2010 and 2018, when she was elected to the Amsterdam council. Kat won a seat in the House in the 2021 general election.
