Athletics
The school participates in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), and is a member of the Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference. Students compete in football, golf, cross-country, cheerleading, basketball, wrestling, baseball, track, volleyball, and softball.
Pinckneyville is known for its boys basketball program, winning over 2,000 games and appearing in the State Finals Tournament 11 times (winning in 1948, 1994 and 2001).
Clubs and activities
Clubs and activities that students of PCHS are given the option of joining include Art Club, Beta Club, Chorus, Concert Band, FFA, FCCLA, Green Team, Jazz Band, Marching Panthers, Music Makers of America, Panther Bakers, Pep Band, Poms, Pyramid Staff, Science Club, Scholar Bowl, Spanish Club, Student Council, and FBLA.
Some of the activities put on by the various clubs include the numerous concerts held by Chorus, Concert Band, and Jazz Band, FFA Week by the FFA Chapter, the annual musical by the Music Makers, Homecoming Week by the Student Council, and Snowcoming Week by FBLA.
South Callaway R-II High School, most commonly known as South Callaway High School, South Callaway, SoCal, or SCHS, is a public high school located in Mokane, Missouri, United States. It provides education for students in grades 9–12. The school is part of the South Callaway R-II School District, all located on the same campus in Mokane, and is the only high school in the district. The school colors are blue and white. The school was opened in 1959.
Columbus Senior High School (CHS) is a public secondary school in Columbus, Wisconsin. Part of the Columbus School District, the school had an enrollment of 381 in 2013.
Dutchtown High School is a 5A school that was completed in 2003 in Geismar, an unincorporated area of Ascension Parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is within the Ascension Parish School Board. Dutchtown Middle School, Bluff Middle School and Prairieville Middle School feed into Dutchtown High. The architecture is based on that of the old Dutchtown High, which was situated across the highway at the current Dutchtown Middle School.
Pell City High School is the only public high school serving the Pell City School System. The school has approx. 1,813 students in grades 9-12 and just recently finished adding on a $7.5 million multi-purpose building which houses a 2200-seat sports arena as well as a 400-seat theatre. The school offers an advanced diploma track that allows students to take honors classes in math, and the sciences, and honors or AP classes in English, Chemistry, and History. The school partners with the local community college to allow some students to take freshman college courses half a school day or at night.

Provo High School is a public secondary school located in Provo, Utah, United States. It is one of three high schools in the Provo City School District and was the oldest secondary school in the city. In the Summer of 2017 the school district began building a new school. The school was finished in August 2018.

It serves the communities of Eubank, Shopville, Woodstock, and parts of the City of Somerset, Kentucky. Students in the Science Hill area, which has its own school district that operates a single K-8 school, attend Somerset High School, per the regulation changes made in 2014.

Prophetstown High School, or PHS, is a public four-year high school located at 310 West Riverside Drive in Prophetstown, Illinois, a small city of Whiteside County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States. PHS is part of Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico Community Unit School District 3, which serves the communities of Prophetstown, Lyndon, Tampico, Deer Grove, and Yorktown, and includes PLT Middle School, Prophetstown Elementary School, and Tampico Elementary School. The campus is 15 miles southwest of Sterling, Illinois. The school serves a mixed small city, village, and rural residential community. The school lies within the Sterling micropolitan statistical area.
Asotin Junior-Senior High School, locally referred to as Asotin High School or AHS, is a four-year public high school located in Asotin, Washington. The school has a population of 250-300 students and holds grades 9-12.
North Providence High School is a public high school in North Providence, Rhode Island, United States that serves grades 9-12. It is part of the North Providence School District and its sports teams compete in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League. North Providence, whose school colors are blue and gold, is home to the Cougars. The high school graduated its first class in 1940. In 1992, part of the school burned down while school was still in session. Trailers were placed in the parking lot and used as classrooms while a new wing was built. The school grounds include a football and baseball field. Within the building there are three gymnasiums, a fitness and training room, and a wood shop. The school was formerly equipped with tunnel access to the town’s Natatorium Complex at the Salvatore Mancini. North Providence High employs 116 faculty and staff for the student body of approximately 1,300 students. North Providence High School holds the distinction of having the highest graduation rate in the state of Rhode Island with 98% of seniors graduating in 2016.
Straughn High School is a public school located in the Straughn community near Andalusia in Covington County, Alabama. Enrollment usually fluctuates between 450 and 500 students every year. The mascot of the school is a Greyhound. Many sports and extracurricular activities are offered in the school.
