A cover version of "It's Hard to Say Goodbye" with Paul Anka became the lead single for her fourth studio album, Reason Enough, which was released in July 1993.
Pinoy Dream Academy is the Philippine version of Endemol's Star Academy. The format is similar to Big Brother, where a set number of finalists would live inside the Academy for four months and will be trained by guest teachers to be multimedia performers. Activities in the Academy are being monitored 24/7 by the headmaster. It uses the tagline Ang drama sa likod ng pangarap. The program is aired through ABS-CBN from August 27, 2006 to October 5, 2008, replacing U Can Dance and was replaced by Kahit Isang Saglit and The Singing Bee.

Songbird is a late-night musical show presented by singer Regine Velasquez in the Philippines. It premiered on GMA Network on May 15, 2008, and ended on August 9, 2008. Each episode has a musical theme at its core which ranges from artist tributes to songs taken from various genres and styles of music. The program featured solo performances rendered by Velasquez, in front of a live audience, as well as select duets with guest performers. It is a cover album consisting of Nina's renditions of familiar love songs written by American songwriter Diane Warren.
