Pinoy Ghost Tales (also known as Ghost Tales) is a 2023 Philippine independent horror anthology film. It is written by Lawrence Nicodemus and directed by Afi Africa, Jojo Nadela and John Isaac Natividad. It stars Jeric Raval, AJ Raval, DJ Durano, Rob Sy and Ping Medina. The film is inspired by the Philippine horror anthology film series Shake, Rattle & Roll . [1] [2]

Synopsis

"The Actress"

The Actress tackles the tale of a newbie prod house that is shooting for a horror movie. However, they experience a real life terror when a ghost haunts them in the middle of their production.

"The Manager"

The Manager tells the story of a newly promoted manager of an advertising company. As she assumes her new role, it seems that the previous manager, who mysteriously disappeared, won't give up the position.

"The Imaginary Friend"

It is about a kid who forms a bond with an unknown entity. Little by little, her whole family starts feeling the presence of her imaginary friend that disturbs their harmony. [3]

The Buy Bust Queen, or simply Buybust Queen, is a 2022 Philippine action film about the women leading the operations of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). Directed by JR Olinares from a screenplay by Lawrence Nicodemus, it stars Phoebe Walker as the titular character along with PDEA Director Gen. Wilkins Villanueva as himself. The film was produced by Pinoyflix Films in cooperation with PDEA to be an "advocacy film" that portrays the agency in a positive light during the Philippine drug war, with its premiere held on March 23, 2022, in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. Manila's Finest is a 2015 Filipino action film directed by William G. Mayo and written by Jose Carreon. Inspired by the life of Manila Police Col. Jimmy Tiu, it stars Jeric Raval, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Bangs Garcia, Danilo "Brownie" Pansalin, Jay Prince Armodoval, Joko Diaz, Leo Martinez, Jao Mapa, Rich Asuncion and Rommel Padilla. Tres is a 2014 Filipino anthology drama film produced by the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) as part of its "Sine Panitik" project. Directed by Jose N. Carreon, William G. Mayo and Edgardo "Boy" Vinarao, all of whom being established filmmakers in the action genre, Tres adapts three local short stories that have won a Palanca Award: "Faith, Love, Time and Dr. Lazaro" by George C.
