Pip and Posy is a series of British children'spicture books written by Camilla Reid and Axel Scheffler, and published by Nosy Crow. known for his work on the Gruffalo series with author Julia Donaldson. The series follows the adventures of two animal friends, Pip the rabbit and Posy the mouse, as they navigate the ups and downs of their everyday lives.
Each book in the series typically explores various themes and lessons that are relevant to young children, such as friendship, sharing, jealousy, and problem-solving.

Pip and Posy is a British stop motion/computer-animated preschool television series produced by Magic Light Pictures, and ZDF Enterprises, With the participation of Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited, and Sky Television UK Limited.[2] The show is based on the book series of the same name written by Camilla Reid and Axel Scheffler.[3]

Pip and Posy premiered in the UK on Channel 5's Milkshake! block, Sky Kids, Nick Jr. and on BBC Alba in a Scottish Gaelic dub, titled Pip is Posy in Scotland, as part of the CBeebies Alba block, The show also airs on ABC Kids in Australia, TVOKids and Knowledge Kids in Canada, Kika (TV channel), and ZDF in Germany, France 4, France 5 in France, Rai Yoyo in Italy, TG4 and Cúla4 in Ireland, Canal Panda and Panda+ in Portuguese, and Yle TV2 in Finland.
Pip and Posy has two series, with a total of 104 episodes. In December 2021, there was an exclusive christmas special episode, titled Pip and Posy's Christmas Presents on the Sky Kids Christmas Favourites episode, as of June 2025 Pip and Posy has three cinema shows, In October 2025, there was an exclusive halloween special episode, titled Pip and Posy's Spooktacular Party which was released on Sky Kids with a new voice cast.
Following the success of the Pip and Posy TV series, Sky Kids commissioned Magic Light Pictures to produce a spin-off show titled Pip and Posy: Let's Learn which launched on October 2, 2023, exclusively on Sky Kids, with a total of 26 episodes.[4]

Removal of Camilla Reid's authorial credit
Whilst initially the Pip and Posy books were credited to Camilla Reid and Axel Scheffler, recent re-printings are credited solely to Axel Scheffler.[8] No explanation for this has been provided by the publisher Nosy Crow, although Reid left her job as Editorial Director at Nosy Crow in 2021.[9]
