Pittenzie Halt railway station on the Crieff Junction Railway served the small hamlet of Pittachar, near Crieff in Scotland. The line was built in 1856 for the Crieff Junction Railway, which connected Crieff with the Scottish Central Railway at Crieff Junction (now Gleneagles). The CJR was absorbed by the Caledonian Railway in 1865, which itself became part of the London, Midland and Scottish in 1923. The line and the station were closed as part of the Beeching closures in 1964. [2]

Methven Junction railway station opened in 1866, following the extension of the already existing Perth, Almond Valley and Methven Railway line which terminated in the village of Methven to the north. This new line, operated by the Crieff and Methven Junction Railway continued westwards from this junction through Balgowan, Madderty, Abercairney, Innerpeffray and finally, Crieff. Following the closure of Methven Station on 27 September 1937, Methven Junction was renamed 'Methven Junction Halt' until its own closure as a passenger station on 1 October 1951.

Ashwell railway station was a station in Ashwell, Rutland on the line between Melton Mowbray and Oakham. It lies west of the village, on the road to Whissendine. Just north of Ashwell was Ashwell Junction where the Cottesmore Ironstone Branch joined. This was in use between 1883 and 1974 and served quarries in the vicinity of Cottesmore and Exton. Part of the former mineral branch line is now Rutland Railway Museum.
Almondbank railway station served the village of Almondbank, in the Scottish county of Perth and Kinross.
Balerno railway station was opened in 1874 and served the area of the village of Balerno that now forms part of the city of Edinburgh. Although primarily built as a goods line, with a dedicated goods station at Balerno, serving the many mills on the Water of Leith, a passenger service was provided by the Caledonian Railway using the Balerno Loop and after grouping by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway, seeing formal closure to passenger traffic shortly after nationalisation. The station was the only one with a separately served goods station on the 'loop' line and lay in rural surroundings that had been popular with families having a day out in the country.
West Timperley railway station was situated on the Glazebrook East Junction–Skelton Junction line of the Cheshire Lines Committee between Glazebrook and Stockport Tiviot Dale. It served the locality between 1873 and 1964.

Methven railway station served the village of Methven, Perth and Kinross, Scotland and was located between the city of Perth to the east and the town of Crieff to its west. It was the western terminus of the Perth, Almond Valley and Methven Railway line and opened on 1 January 1858.
Ravelrig Junction Platform railway station or Ravelrig Halt was originally opened in 1884 as a two platform station on the Shotts line on the edge of the Dalmahoy Estate in an area that now forms part of the city of Edinburgh. It stood just to the west of Ravelrig Junction that served the Balerno Loop Line. After closure in 1920 Ravelrig Platform for Dalmahoy Golf Course was opened at the same site around 1927 as a single platform when the Dalmahoy Estate became a hotel with a golf course, however it is stated to have closed in 1930. The site may have also served a military purpose.
