Sony Ericsson's Pocket TV is a British music and entertainment show made by Sony Ericsson and shot in HD. Series one launched in June 2009 and ran for 13 weeks on YouTube. [1] [2] The show achieved over 2.5 million views. [3] The first series was presented by Matt Edmondson and Jameela Jamil. [4] They hosted segments which included Face Invaders, Quiz my pants and live sessions. [5] [6] The show gave viewers the opportunity to submit ideas and to host Citizen Journalist features. [7] including Underground Rebel Bingo Club, [8] The Hide & Seek festival [9] and Welsh music club night Swaparama. [10]

Series 2

The second series of Pocket TV ran for 13 weeks starting April 2010. [11] It was presented by Matt Edmondson and available on YouTube, MSN and the PlayStation Network in the UK and Ireland. [12] In July 2010, Channel 4 purchased the rights to broadcast the show on T4 and 4Music, starting from August 2010. [13]

David Mitchell (comedian) English actor, comedian and writer

David James Stuart Mitchell is an English comedian, actor, writer and television presenter who currently works for the BBC as a team captain on the TV series Would I Lie to You?. He is half of the comedy duo Mitchell and Webb, alongside Robert Webb. The duo starred in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, in which Mitchell plays Mark Corrigan. Mitchell won the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance in 2009 for his performance in the show. The duo have written and starred in several sketch shows including Bruiser, The Mitchell and Webb Situation, That Mitchell and Webb Sound and also That Mitchell and Webb Look. The pair also starred in the UK version of Apple's "Get a Mac" advertising campaign. Their first film, Magicians, was released in 2007. In 2013, the duo starred in the short-lived Ambassadors. Mitchell currently stars in the Channel 4 comedy-drama Back (2017–) alongside Webb.

The Wright Stuff is a British television chat show which was hosted by former tabloid journalist Matthew Wright from 2000 until 2018. It aired on Channel 5 on weekday mornings from 9:15 to 11:15am. The series characterised itself as "Britain's brightest daytime show", which gave "ordinary people the chance to talk and comment on everything from the invasion of Iraq to social, emotional and even sexual issues back at home", as well as featuring "showbiz stars and media commentators". The Wright Stuff was nominated as "Best Daytime Programme" at both the Royal Television Society and the National Television Awards.

Richard Fulcher is an American comedian, actor and author. He played Bob Fossil and other characters in the British comedy series The Mighty Boosh, and Edward Sheath in the American series Jon Benjamin Has a Van. He has also appeared in Noel Fielding's more recent show, Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy. His other appearances include Unnatural Acts with Julian Barratt and Fielding of The Mighty Boosh and he starred in and wrote the TV series Snuff Box alongside Matt Berry.

Top Gear is an American motoring television series, based on the BBC series of the same name. The show's presenters were professional racing driver Tanner Foust, actor and comedian Adam Ferrara, and automotive and racing analyst Rutledge Wood. As with the original British version, the show had its own version of The Stig, an anonymous racing driver, and a celebrity guest was featured each week for the first two seasons. The show premiered on November 21, 2010, on History.

Sarah-Jane Crawford is an English television and radio presenter, actress, voice-over artist, and DJ best known for her radio work with Hits Radio and formerly with BBC Radio 1Xtra, and television work with E! Network, ITV2 on The Xtra Factor, BBC and Channel 4. Crawford has also presented and appeared a number of shows for the Disney Channel and MTV. The Sony Ericsson T707 is a fashion-oriented mobile phone from Sony Ericsson. It was announced on 26 March 2009, in conjunction with tennis star Maria Sharapova. The product was discontinued in January 2012.

<i>Adam and Joe</i> (radio show) British comedy radio talk show

Adam and Joe was a radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music presented by Adam and Joe - comedians Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish. The show began in October 2007 and ran for three hours in a Saturday morning slot, originally from 9:00am to 12:00pm before moving to 10:00am to 1:00pm. After a hiatus from 26 December 2009, the series returned for three months on 2 April 2011. The show also briefly returned in late 2012, with Edith Bowman replacing Joe Cornish as Adam's co-presenter.

Joe Sugg English YouTuber

Joseph Graham Sugg is an English YouTuber, actor and author. In August 2012, he began posting videos on the YouTube channel ThatcherJoe, currently at over 7 million subscribers. In 2018, he was a finalist on the sixteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, and in 2019, he portrayed Ogie Anhorn in the West End production of Waitress. He is the younger brother of fellow YouTuber Zoe Sugg.
