Milk is a white liquid food produced by the mammary glands of mammals and the caecilian Siphonops annulatus. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest solid food. Immune factors and immune-modulating components in milk contribute to milk immunity. Early-lactation milk, which is called colostrum, contains antibodies that strengthen the immune system and thus reduce the risk of many diseases. Milk contains many nutrients, including calcium and protein, but also lactose and saturated fat.

Hawaiian Punch is an American brand of fruit punch currently manufactured by Keurig Dr Pepper, originally invented in 1934 by A.W. Leo, Tom Yeats, and Ralph Harrison as a topping for ice cream. It was started from an original syrup flavor called Leo's Hawaiian Punch, containing orange, pineapple, passion fruit, guava and papaya, and is currently offering 14 different flavors since 2020. Though earlier versions contained 10% fruit juice, the drink is currently made with 3% fruit juice.

The Navy Grog was a popular rum-based drink served for many years at the Polynesian-themed Don the Beachcomber restaurants; it is still served in many so-called tiki restaurants and bars. Meadow Gold Dairies, originally the "Dairymen's Association" when it was formed in 1897 from the combination of seven dairy businesses, is a dairy company operating in Hawaii. Beatrice Foods purchased the company in 1953. In 1959 the company's name was changed to "Meadow Gold Dairies". In 1964 Waimea dairy was acquired and in 1966 Greenwell Dairy was acquired. In the 1960's and 1970's Meadow Gold marketed several dairy products, advertising them in print and televised media, under the Viva brand. In 1986 Beatrice Foods acquired Meadow Gold Dairies. Additional acquisitions of dairies took place in the following years and in recent decades the ice cream manufacturing plant was closed. The company became part of Dean Foods in 2001.
