Polina Volodymyrivna Kondaurova (born 4 June 1988) is a retired Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast and judge. [1] She represented her country in international competitions.
Polina began doing rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 7 in Nikopol at the Elektrometallurg sports club, her first coach was Elena Yastrebova. In 2001, at the age of 13, she entered the Dnepropetrovsk Regional School of Physical Culture (a sports boarding school where athletes live without parents, study and train), coached by Natalya Eremina.
Until the age of 16 she represented the Dnipropetrovsk region in both individual and group modality, winning various medals. In 2004, she joined the national team and moved to Kyiv in order to train at the Deriugins School. [2]
In 2007 she compete in various World Cups as a member of the senior group, finishing 9th overall in Saint Petersburg, 8th in Genoa, 6th in Tel Aviv and won bronze with 3 hoops & 2 clubs at the one in Nizhny Novgorod. [3] In August of the same year she competed in the Universiade in Bangkok. along Nadya Vasina, Vita Zubchenko, Irina Kovalchuk, Inga Kozhokhina and Olha Skuradova, winning silver in the All-Around and gold with 5 ropes, after that she was awarded the state award "For work and achievement". [4] A month later she was selected for the World Championships in Patras, there Polina, Olena Dmytrash, Alina Maksimenko, Viera Perederiy, Oksana Petulko and Vita Zubchenko, were 8th in the All-Around and 5th with 3 hoops & 2 clubs. In 2008, she ended her sports career due to a knee joint injury and surgery, in the same year she started coaching at the Deriugins School. After the end of her sports career, Polina was invited to work as a model. However, when she had to choose between a career as a trainer and a model, she chose to become a full time coach. [6]
In 2010, she received a master's degree from NUFVSU, majoring in sports biomechanics. Later she became a coach of Youth Sports School No. 3 "Spartak". In 2013 Kondaurova passed the judging seminar and received the first category of national judge. [2]
Hanna Volodymyrivna Bezsonova is a Ukrainian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is one of the most decorated rhythmic gymnast of her generation. She is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist ; a five-time medalist in the all-around competition of the World Championships: gold in 2007, silver in 2003 and 2005, bronze in 2001 and 2009; a four-time medalist in the all-around competition of the European Championships: silver in 2004 and 2008, bronze in 2002 and 2006; and a four-time medalist in the all-around competition of the Grand Prix Final: gold in 2003, silver in 2002 and 2005, bronze in 2004.
Irina Ivanivna Deriugina is a former Soviet individual rhythmic gymnast from Ukraine and Ukrainian coach in rhythmic gymnastics. She is the only Soviet rhythmic gymnast to win two all-around world titles, which she won in 1977 and 1979. Her mother, Albina, was her coach. Her success influenced the further development of rhythmic gymnastics in Kyiv.
Alina Oleksandrivna Maksymenko is a retired individual rhythmic gymnast.
Ganna Serhiivna Rizatdinova is a Ukrainian individual rhythmic gymnast. In the all-around event, she is the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World All-around medalist, and a two-time European All-around bronze medalist.
Viktoria Oleksiivna Mazur is a retired Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast who competed in individual and group rhythmic gymnastics.
Dina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She was the 2020 Olympic All-around silver medalist, the only four-time World All-around Champion, the 2018 silver and 2021 European All-around bronze medalist and the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around silver medalist. On a national level, she was the 2017, 2018 and 2022 Russian National All-around champion and the 2013 Russian Junior All-around bronze medalist. Her identical twin sister, Arina Averina, is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Arina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She was a 2020 Summer Olympics finalist, a two-time world all-around silver medalist, a two-time European all-around champion and the 2016 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist. She was a three-time (2019–2021) Russian national all-around champion and a three-time Russian national all-around medalist. Her identical twin sister Dina Averina is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Zarina Mayramovna Gizikova is a Russian retired individual rhythmic gymnast, an Honored Master of Sports of Russia and the 2002 Russian National All-around champion.
Linoy Ashram is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal. She became the first rhythmic gymnast from outside a post-Soviet republic to win a gold medal at an Olympics where former Soviet states participated.
Polina Sergeyevna Khonina is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is now working as a coach and have coached gymnasts from national team of Korea, Hong Kong, Denmark and The Netherlands.
Daria Atamanov is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 European all-around Champion, and the 2023 World Championship all-around bronze medalist. She is also the 2022 European Championship silver medalist in hoop, clubs, ribbon, and the team bronze medalist. On a national level, she is the 2022 & 2024 Israeli National all-around champion and a two-time Israeli Junior National all-around champion. Atamanov represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Women's rhythmic individual all-around and came in fifth in her first Olympics.
Yanika Vartlaan is a retired Estonian-Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 Grand Prix Final hoop bronze medalist.
Fanni Pigniczki is a Hungarian rhythmic gymnast. She competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Romi Paritzki is a retired Israeli world champion rhythmic gymnast, and captain of Israel's rhythmic gymnastics team. She won the gold medal in the group All-Around at the 2022 European Championship, a silver medal in the same category at the 2022 World Championships, and gold medals in Group and in Group Multiple Apparatus Ball, Ribbon, at the 2023 World Championships. Paritzki represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Women's rhythmic team all-around, in which Team Israel won the silver medal.
