Polish Aviation Group is Poland's largest aviation company. It was founded in 2018 with an aim to merge Polish companies including LOT Polish Airlines, LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services, LS Airport Services and LS Technics. The group's headquarters are in Warsaw.
PGL (Polska Grupa Lotnicza) was formed in January 2018 and consists of LOT Polish Airlines, LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services and LS Airport Services and LS Technics which were merged into the group in early October 2018. [2] Its CEO is Rafał Milczarski. [3] It was started with a capital of PLN 1.2 billion (EUR 290 million) [4] as a joint stock company in January 2018. The new state-owned Polish Aviation Group (PGL), endowed with capital of PLN 2.5 billion, brings together the country’s largest aviation service providers. [3]
On 24 January 2020 PGL announced that it would acquire Condor Flugdienst, and that the transaction was expected to be completed in April 2020 after consideration from anti-trust regulators. [5] On 2 April 2020 it was announced that the sale had fallen through. [6] [7]
On 29 May 2020 Lot Polish Airlines S.A. was established, with PGL owning 100% of the shares. [8] The reasons behind forming a company with a similar name remain unknown, with only speculations suggesting it might have been created to announce the controlled bankruptcy of PLL LOT, which faces financial challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [9]
In January 2022, [10] the company rebranded as LOTAIR SA, [11] and on March 16, 2023, it suspended operations for a period of 24 months. [10]

In 2019, LOT Polish Airlines served 10 million passengers which was their highest amount yet. [13]
LOT Polish Airlines, legally incorporated as Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A., is the flag carrier of Poland. Established in 1928, LOT was a founding member of IATA and remains one of the world's oldest airlines in operation. Condor Flugdienst GmbH, usually shortended to Condor, is a German leisure airline established in 1955 with Frankfurt Airport being its main base. Condor offers scheduled flights to leisure destinations and operates, from Germany, medium-haul flights to the Mediterranean Basin and the Canary Islands as well as long-haul flights to destinations in Africa, Asia, North America, South America and the Caribbean. Whereas medium-haul flights are operated from many German airports, long-haul flights usually depart from Frankfurt, with a few rotations operated from Düsseldorf and Munich. Condor also operates charter flights.

OLT Express Poland was a Polish charter airline, formally known as Yes Airways. On 31 July 2012 it suspended all charter services, less than a week after the scheduled sister airline OLT Express Regional cancelled all its services. Stranded customers were returned home on LOT services. All leased aircraft were repossessed by lessors, and even some wet lease pilots were released back to their employer airlines. Its sister airline, OLT Express Regional, filed for bankruptcy on 27 July 2012 after its licence was suspended by the Polish Aviation Authority.

Its main base was Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, whilst its own flights centre on its hubs at John Paul II Kraków Airport and Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport. The airline had its head office in the LOT Polish Airlines headquarters in Warsaw. Eurolot ended operations on 31 March 2015. The company slogan was Polish: Zawsze z klasą, Always classy.
Warsaw Radom Airport, also known as Radom-Sadków Airport, is a joint civil–military airport in central Poland, located approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) east of Radom city center and 100 km (62 mi) from Warsaw. The name "Sadków" comes from the suburb of Radom in which the airport is located. The airport has been in operation since the 1920s. The airport has one 2500x45m (6,562x147,6 ft) runway.
