Prima Charter was a Polish charter airline, previously known as Fischer Air Polska. [1] It commenced operations on 12 May 2005 and ceased operations on 14 January 2008. [2]
Established as Fischer Air Polska in 2003, the airline started operations on 12 May 2005. It was established by the Czech K&K Group, but was acquired by PTV in January 2006. It operated charter flights to the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Thailand, Kenya, Sri Lanka, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. It ceased operations in October 2006. [3] However, renamed Prima Charter, it reentered the market in late 2006, flying since at one time or another to all the destinations that Fischer Air Polska had served. However, it operated to the end with a fleet of exactly one jet, still with Fischer Air markings, as opposed to two that Fischer Air Polska was leasing.
Monarch Airlines, also known as Monarch, was a British charter and scheduled airline founded by Bill Hodgson and Don Peacock and financed by the Swiss Sergio Mantegazza family. The company later became a low-cost airline in 2004 before abandoning charter flying completely. The airline's headquarters were based at Luton, and it had operating bases at Birmingham, Leeds/Bradford, Gatwick and Manchester.

Nauru Air Corporation, trading as Nauru Airlines, is the flag carrier airline of the Republic of Nauru. It operates scheduled international services to other Pacific islands and Australia. In August 2014, the airline changed its name from Our Airline to Nauru Airlines.
CanJet was a Canadian low-cost air carrier headquartered in Enfield, Nova Scotia and based at Halifax International Airport. In addition to initially flying scheduled passenger service, CanJet operated charter flights using its own brand as well as flying contract and ad hoc charters for other tour operators and airlines throughout Canada and the United States. CanJet was wholly owned by IMP Group International and had 572 employees as of March 2007. The airline ceased operations in 2015.
A low-cost carrier or low-cost airline is an airline that is operated with an especially high emphasis on minimizing operating costs and without some of the traditional services and amenities provided in the fare, resulting in lower fares and fewer comforts. To make up for revenue lost in decreased ticket prices, the airline may charge extra fees – such as for carry-on baggage. As of April 2020, the world's largest low-cost carrier is Southwest Airlines, which operates primarily in the United States, as well as in some surrounding areas.

It operated scheduled services from Glasgow International Airport, and other UK airports, to the Mediterranean and Athens using the air operator's certificate of Greece Airways, a Greek registered company and licensed by the Greek Civil Aviation Authority.

It operates domestic, international and private charter services. Around 800,000 passengers a year are carried on the scheduled route network.
Helios Airways (Ajet.com) was a low-cost Cypriot airline operating scheduled and charter flights between Cyprus and many European and African destinations. It had its corporate headquarters on the grounds of Larnaca International Airport in Larnaca. Its main base was Larnaca International Airport. Flights ceased on 6 November 2006 because the company's aircraft were detained and its bank accounts frozen by the government of Cyprus.
Hellas Jet was a charter airline based in Athens, Greece, operating services to Greece from destinations in Europe. Its main base was Athens International Airport. Hellas Jet was a licensed scheduled and charter carrier, holding a JAA AOC and a Line Maintenance Certificate under JAA/EASA Part 145, both approved by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. It ceased operations in 2010 due to economic difficulties. The repossession of two of their Airbus A320 aircraft, 87 and 88, was documented on Discovery channel TV programme Airplane Repo. The company slogan was More than a flight.
air FISCHER, previously Fischer Air, was an airline headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic. It operated charter services for tour operator Fischer to over 30 destinations in Europe and Africa, as well as charter flights for other clients. Its main base was Ruzyně International Airport, Prague. In 2005 it was rebranded as Charter Air. Charter Air was not a success since a month later it was bankrupt. In October 2018 it announced its restart as "air FISCHER" as of April 2019. As of October 30, 2019, there were doubts reported about the airline being relaunched.
Champion Air was an airline based in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. It operated general charter services to sports teams, vacation wholesalers, and government agencies. It also offered limited scheduled service. Its main base was Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, with hubs at Denver International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. The airline ceased all operations on May 31, 2008. Until its shutdown, the airline was a prime contractor for the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System.
Kogalymavia, DBA Metrojet, was a Russian airline based in Kogalym, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Its home base was at Kogalym International Airport, with the main hub at Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow. It suspended all operations in December 2015, two months after the terrorist attack on Flight 9268.
Bournemouth Airport is an airport located 3.5 NM north-northeast of Bournemouth, in southern England. The site opened as RAF Hurn in 1941, but was transferred to civil control in 1944. For a short period Hurn served as London's international airport, until the opening of facilities at Heathrow. Commercial services resumed in the late 1950s, with Palmair commencing flights to Palma, Majorca in October 1958.
ExpressJet Airlines was a regional U.S. airline headquartered in College Park, Georgia. The company originally operated as a contracted codeshare partner, flying under the American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express brands at various points in history. In September 2020, it exited the fee-for-departure airline market and temporarily ceased flights after the conclusion of its contract with its sole remaining mainline partner, United Airlines. In September 2021, ExpressJet resumed operations as both an air charter provider and a regional airline under its own brand aha!—short for "Air-Hotel-Adventure." The brand's route structure focused on the West Coast of the United States with a hub at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, and scheduled flights began on October 24, 2021. The airline, including its brand aha!, filed for bankruptcy on August 23, 2022, and ceased all operations.
Ozjet Airlines Pty Ltd was a scheduled and charter airline with its head office in Tullamarine, Melbourne Australia, operating within Australasia from Melbourne Airport, Sydney Airport, and Perth Airport. In 2008 the airline was sold to HeavyLift Cargo Airlines, and on 20 May 2009 it suspended its last remaining operations from Perth. In June 2009, OzJet was purchased by the Strategic group. With the insolvency of Strategic Airlines on 17 February 2012 also OzJet ceased all operations and went as part of the mother company into administration. Administrator is the company KordaMentha.
Thai Sky Airlines Co., Ltd was a charter passenger and cargo airline based in Thailand, with head office in the Le Concorde Tower in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The airline ceased operations in 2006.
Sri Sathya Sai Airport is located at Puttaparthi in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The airport is named after Sathya Sai Baba, a spiritual guru and philanthropist. It is a small airport with facilities for chartered flights rather than commercial aircraft. The airport was inaugurated in 1990 to serve the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences during emergency situations. The airport's 1000-metre-long airstrip and terminal building were constructed by L&T ECC. The runway was later extended to enable the operation of larger jet aircraft.
Air Asturias was a short-lived airline based in Oviedo/Asturias, Spain. Its operations were started by LTE in November 2006 and ceased on January 26, 2007.
