Politico is Mexican Institute of Sound's fourth album. Released in August 2012, its theme is dedicated to Mexico's political and social environment; hence the name of the album. [1] [2]

Camilo Blanes Cortés, known professionally as Camilo Sesto "El Rey del Amor", was a Spanish singer, songwriter and music producer. There are various sales figures for him, ranging from 70 to 200 million records sold, and the singer himself claimed to have sold more than 175 million records. However, his official sales would represent around than 2.8 million copies worldwide, including nearly 900,000 certified.
Edgar Ricardo Arjona Morales, known as Ricardo Arjona, is a Guatemalan singer and songwriter. He is one of the most successful and best-selling Latin American artists of all time, with more than 20 million records sold. He is often called El Animal Nocturno, thanks to his breakthrough success with his fourth studio album, which bears the same name. His music ranges from ballads to Latin pop, rock, pop rock, Cuban music, and more recently a cappella performances and a mixture of Tejano music and Norteño music, and other Afro-American and Latin sounds. Arjona is noted for his lyrical style, and often addresses topics such as love, sexuality, violence, racism and immigration.
María José Loyola Anaya, known professionally as María José is a Mexican singer, ballet and flamenco dancer, athlete and television personality. Her career started at age 15 when she joined the 90s famous Mexican band, Kabah as a vocalist. After leaving the band, in 2006, she continued her successful solo singing career and to date has released six studio albums.
El Cuarteto de Nos is an Uruguayan rock group formed in 1980 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Over the years, due to its particular sound that mixes elements of hip hop, alternative rock, comedy rock and Latin music, the group has developed an immense amount of popularity and praise in Latin America and Hispanic countries. The band won two Latin Grammy Awards in 2012 for Best Pop/Rock Album and Best Rock Song.
Mexican Institute of Sound is an electronic music project created by Mexico City-based DJ and producer Camilo Lara. Along with groups like Nortec Collective and Kinky, M.I.S. is part of a growing Mexican electronica movement, encouraging fusions of folk and more traditional music with modern sounds.

Eiza González Reyna is a Mexican actress and singer. She gained popularity for her debut role as Lola Valente in the Mexican musical telenovela Lola, érase una vez (2007–2008) and later starred in the lead role of Clara Molina on the Nickelodeon teen drama Sueña conmigo (2010–2011). Nadha is the third studio album by Chilean pop rock band Kudai, released on May 13, 2008 through EMI Music in Latin America, and on August 5, 2008 through Capitol Records in United States. Produced by Koko Stambuk and Carlos Lara, the album was nominated for Best Pop Album by Group or Duet at the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Nadha, is Sanskrit for "sound from the depths of the soul". This title was chosen to demonstrate the depth and sincerity of the album's songs. Most of the songs were written by Stambuk in co-written by Kudai, which embellish lyrics about ecology, homosexuality, toxic relationships and depression.
Méjico Máxico is the debut album of Mexican Institute of Sound, a one-man band led by Camilo Lara. The album contains 15 tracks which sample sounds as diverse as Mexican and Latin American folk music. Music magazine editors have described the band as one of the biggest pioneers of Mexican Electronica.
5to Piso is the eleventh studio album by Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, released on 18 November 2008. Produced by Arjona, Jorge Amaro, Dan Warner, Lee Levin, Fernando de Santiago and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Tommy Torres, the album was recorded in various studios between the United States and Mexico. It is the first release by the artist under Warner Music. Arjona commented that with this album, he "tried to recoup some of the freshness" of his past releases, stating that "it makes good to the songs". Jason Birchmeier from Allmusic named it "an eagerly awaited album with a phenomenal lead single." 5to Piso marks the third album in which the singer collaborates with Tommy Torres, after Adentro and Quién Dijo Ayer.
Para Olvidarte de Mí is the sixth and final studio album by Mexican pop band RBD, a group that gained popularity from Televisa's teenage-oriented TV series, Rebelde. The album was released on March 10, 2009 in Mexico and on March 24, 2009 in the United States. The album belongs to the musical genres of Latin pop and pop rock, with a melodic dance-pop styling.
Poquita Ropa is the twelfth studio album by Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona. It was released on August 24, 2010, through Warner Music. It was recorded in Mexico City, New York City, and Los Angeles and was produced by Lee Levin and Dan Warner under their production name Los Gringo, with additional works from Matt Rollings and Brian Lang.
Te Acordarás de Mí is the second and final studio album by Mexican singer and actress Eiza González. It was released digitally on June 5, 2012 through EMI Televisa Music and Capitol Latin in the US. On June 12, 2012, the album was available in physical and digital format in South America. González recorded the album in Los Angeles, California, at Sonic Studios in Tornillo, Texas, the Dominican Republic and Mexico City during late 2011 and early 2012. The album was produced by Ettore Grenci.

Habla Ahora is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer María José. The follow-up to De Noche, the album introduces new genres to the singer. The lead single "Las Que Se Ponen Bien La Falda" marks the first time the singer dwells into the genre of reggaeton and urban music, while the album's title track incorporates a bachata undertone. She also continues what now is known as one of her trademarks and includes two covers on the album. "Olvidame Y Pega la Vuelta" which features Bryan Amadeus is originally a song by Pimpinela, as well as "Duri Duri" which is originally sung by 80's High Energy Spanish band Click.
Mexrrissey is a Mexican band co-founded by Camilo Lara and Sergio Mendoza. Inspired by Morrissey and The Smiths' songs, Camilo and Sergio along with: Ceci Bastida, Jay de la Cueva, Alejandro Flores, Chetes and Ricardo Nájera began this musical project in 2015. Their album No Manchester (2016) contains Morrissey songs translated into Spanish with a mix of Latin beats and sounds added to the music. After their first show in Mexico City, the band began with a UK tour in April 2015. During the spring of 2018, Mexrrissey conducted a UK tour promoted as "La Reina Is Dead".
Antonio Hernández, better known as Toy Selectah, is a DJ, producer and Mexican musician. He began his career as a member of the group Control Machete and has collaborated with artists such as MIA, Cypress Hill, Thievery Corporation, Café Tacuba, Manu Chao and Celso Piña, among many others.
Viva Kids Vol. 2 is the seventeenth studio album by Mexican recording artist Thalía and her second album meant for children, released on May 29, 2020 by Sony Music Latin. The album consists of 15 tracks of which all are new children's songs written by Thalía. The album is a sequel to her 2014 children's album Viva Kids Vol. 1.
Desde el Fin del Mundo is the second studio album by Argentine rapper and singer Duki. It was released on 22 April 2021 through SSJ Records and Dale Play Records. Unlike their debut studio album Súper Sangre Joven, this album features 18 songs and features more guest producers and artists. The album features the participation of the artists Ysy A, Rei, Lucho SSJ, Farina, Lara91k, Asan, Bizarrap, Pablo Chill-E, Julianno Sosa, Young Cister, Neo Pistea, Obie Wanshot, Tobi, Khea, Pekeño 77, Mesita, Franux BB, 44 Kid and Ca7riel. The album despite having several renowned producers, was produced entirely by Yesan and Asan.
