"Polo Opuesto" ("Polar Opposite"), also known as "Polos Opuestos" ("Polar Opposites"), is a song by Dominican Bachata duo Monchy & Alexandra. [1] It is the sixth track of their second studio album, Confesiones (2002). It was later released as the lead single from their remix album The Mix (2003).

Doble Opuesto is the second album of the Chilean rock band La Ley and the first commercially successful one after their debut album, Desiertos, failed to sell. The album was released in October 1991 under the production of Jorge Melibosky. Band members for this record were Andrés Bobe (guitars), Mauricio Clavería (drums), Alberto Cuevas (vocals) and Luciano Rojas (bass). Bobe provides vocals for the song "En Lugares".
Historias e Histeria is La Ley's second greatest hits compilation album. The band was convinced to do this in lieu of a new studio album. The band had to make an album of 16 songs in very limited amount of time. The album was released almost immediately after their previous album Libertad after only one year of the latter's release. Sentidos Opuestos is a Mexican Latin pop music duo, formed by singer Alessandra Rosaldo and keyboardist Chacho Gaytán. Its career started in the early 1990s under the instructions of local producer Miguel Blasco.
Gonzalo "Chacho" Gaytán is a Mexican music composer, producer, musical arranger, musical director and conductor. He is best known for being the co-founder and keyboardist of the Mexican pop band Sentidos Opuestos, along with colleague Alessandra Rosaldo. He is also the brother of actress and singer Bibi Gaytan and brother-in-law of actor and singer Eduardo Capetillo.
The Mix is Monchy & Alexandra's first remix album. It was released on June 10, 2003 under the Sony International label. The album contains music previously released by the artistic duo. The songs however have been mixed to fit other Latino musical genres, such as reggaeton, as well as European musical genres as techno. It also included the song "Polo Opuesto" which was used as the single to promote the album as it was the only song at the time to not be featured in previous albums. The song peaked at number 7 Billboard Tropical Airplay chart.
