Pomysk Wielki [ˈpɔmɨsk ˈvjɛlki] (Kashubian : Wiôldżi Pòmësk; German : Groß Pomeiske) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bytów, within Bytów County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Bytów and 73 km (45 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.^{[ citation needed ]}

Kashubian or Cassubian is a West Slavic lect belonging to the Lechitic subgroup along with Polish and Silesian. Although often classified as a language in its own right, it is sometimes viewed as a dialect of Pomeranian or as a dialect of Polish.
