Pond Fork (also called Pondfork Creek) is a stream in western Ozark County, Missouri. [1] Pond Fork has its source in the northwest corner of Ozark County and flows south-southeast passing under Missouri Route 95 between Thornfield and Longrun to its mouth at the northern branch of Bull Shoals Lake just northeast of Theodosia. [2] [3] Prior to the filling of Bull Shoals, Pond Fork was a tributary to the Little North Fork White River which it joined just north of Theodosia. [4]

Missouri Route 95 highway in Missouri

Route 95 is a highway in southern Missouri. Its northern terminus is at Route 32 at Lynchburg in Laclede County. Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 160 at Lutie about 2.5 miles west of the Theodosia arm of Bull Shoals Lake in Ozark County.

Pond Fork was named for the fact the creek is fed from a pond in its headwaters. [5]

Hammond, the site of the historic Hammond Mill, lies on the Little North Fork 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southeast of Thornfield. Although it is unincorporated, Thornfield has a post office with ZIP code 65762.

Sycamore, Missouri Community in Missouri, U. S. A.

Sycamore is an unincorporated community in eastern Ozark County in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is located on Route 181 about fourteen miles northeast of Gainesville. The old townsite is located on a ridge on the west side of Bryant Creek, a major tributary of the North Fork River. The old Hodgson Mill and spring lie on Bryant Creek 0.8 mi (1.3 km) to the northeast. The mill was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places as Aid-Hodgson Mill in 2001.

The townsite is in a valley 0.8 miles (1.3 km) north of the Lick Creek arm of Bull Shoals Lake.

Longrun is an unincorporated community in western Ozark County, Missouri. It is located on Route 95 about 5.7 miles (9.2 km) northwest of Theodosia and 5.4 miles (8.7 km) southwest of Thornfield. Its post office closed and mail is now served by Theodosia.

Hammond is an unincorporated community in Ozark County, Missouri. It is located at the intersection of two county roads on the Little North Fork of the White River about twelve miles northwest of Gainesville and 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southeast of Thornfield.

Foil is an unincorporated community in northern Ozark County. It is about sixteen miles south of Ava on county roads 953 and 955. Wasola is about four miles northeast on Missouri Route 5 and Thornfield is about three miles southwest on Missouri Route JJ. The community is on the banks of Little Creek, a tributary of Little North Fork White River.

The North Fork River or the North Fork of White River is a 109-mile-long (175 km) tributary of the White River, into which it flows near Norfork, Arkansas.

Roubidoux Creek is a tributary to the Gasconade River in the Ozarks of south central Missouri named after French explorer Joseph Robidoux. It is 57.4 miles (92.4 km) long. Due to its colder water temperatures, it is listed as a trout stream. Roubidoux Spring is a landmark that is nestled just south of downtown Waynesville. The creek cuts north through Fort Leonard Wood before crossing underneath Interstate 44 and into the city limits of Waynesville.

Toledo is an unincorporated community in Ozark County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. Toledo is located in the valley of the Little North Fork White River about four miles north of Thornfield and Missouri Route 95.

Benton Creek is a stream in Phelps, Dent and Crawford counties in the Ozarks of Missouri.

Clever Creek is a stream in north central Douglas County the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is a tributary to Fox Creek. From its source southeast of Tick Ridge, Clever Creek flows southwest to south and passes under Missouri Route 76 at Coldspring. From there the stream flows south to southeast to its confluence with Fox Creek just northeast of Champion.

Noblett Creek is a stream in Douglas and Howell counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.

Barren Fork is a stream in Ozark County, Missouri. It is a tributary of the Little North Fork White River. The headwaters of the stream are along the west side of the Caney Mountain Conservation Area north of Gainesville. The stream flows west past Willhoit and under Missouri Route 5 continuing into the Mark Twain National Forest south of Nottinghill to its confluence with the Little North Fork White River north of Isabella. The confluence is within the waters of Bull Shoals Lake and the normal lake level is at 695 feet.

Pondfork is an unincorporated community in northwest Ozark County, Missouri. Pondfork lies on the Hay Hollow tributary to Pond Fork Creek which lies to the west. The community is about three miles WSW of Thornfield. Access is via Missouri Route D from Missouri Route 95 to the southeast. Pondfork lies within the Mark Twain National Forest.

The Little North Fork White River is a stream in southern Douglas and Ozark counties of the Ozarks of southern Missouri and entering northern Marion County, Arkansas within the Bull Shoals Reservoir.

Spring Creek is a stream in Douglas and Howell counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.

Tabor Creek is a stream in Douglas and Howell counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.

Indian Creek is a stream in northeastern Douglas County and northwestern Howell County in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is a tributary of the North Fork River.
