Poor Aim: Love Songs is an EP by The Blow originally released in 2004 by States Rights Records/Slender Means Society. [1] It was re-released in 2007 by K Records with remixed bonus tracks. [2]

Exclaim! gave the album a positive review, calling it "Nintendo music intended for dancing, or folk singer songs remixed by an electro pop-loving hipster." They especially praised the final track on the re-release, "We Are Over Here". [5]
All tracks were written by Jona Bechtolt and Khaela Maricich, except "The Sky Opened Wide Like the Tide", which was written by Bechtolt, Maricich, and Anna Oxygen. [3] The refrain and part of the lyric from "Come on Petunia" was taken from "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", a song written by Sting of The Police. [6]
Nicholas Bracegirdle, known professionally as Chicane, is an English musician, DJ, composer, songwriter, and record producer. The Blow is an American electro pop band, comprising Khaela Maricich and Melissa Dyne. Maricich and Dyne write, compose, produce and perform all the music. It was formed as a solo project by Maricich in 2002, and she was joined by Jona Bechtolt, from Yacht, from 2004 to 2007. Melissa Dyne became part of the project in 2007.
Oliver Chesler, better known by his stage name The Horrorist, is an American electronic music artist from New York City. He is the owner of the Things to Come Records. Just Be is the second studio album by Dutch DJ Tiësto. It was released on 6 April 2004 in the Netherlands and 15 May 2004 in the United States. The album features BT, Kirsty Hawkshaw, and Aqualung on vocals, as well as a remake of Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings". The album's singles were "Love Comes Again", "Traffic", "Just Be", and "Adagio for Strings". The track "Sweet Misery" was originally written for Evanescence but it did not meet the deadline for the release of their debut album, Fallen.

Originally intended as the second single from their ninth studio album Loveboat, the album cut was remixed drastically for radio play by Jason Creasey and packaged with enough additional tracks and mixes that it could be considered an EP. Mute Records released the single in the UK under the title Moon & the Sky Plus, a similar tactic used for one of Erasure's previous singles ("Rain").

Black Jays is a Canadian independent record label, production company, and musical collective, specializing in hip-hop, R&B, and reggae music. Jona Bechtolt is an electronic musician and multimedia artist based in Portland, Oregon, United States, best known for his band YΔCHT. He is a former member of The Badger King, Dirty Projectors, and The Blow. YΔCHT began in 2003 as a vehicle for his solo work, but in 2008 became a duo with the addition of singer Claire L. Evans.
Paper Television is the fourth LP from The Blow. It is also the band's first album as a duo consisting of Khaela Maricich and Jona Bechtolt. Previously, Khaela Maricich had been the sole member.
