Poppy Adams is a British television documentary director/producer and novelist. She has made films for the BBC, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel. [1] Her first novel, The Behaviour of Moths (2008), [2] was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award in the 2008 Costa Book Awards. [3]

Adams attended the Dragon School in Oxford, England, and later received a degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University. [4] [1] She has made films for the BBC, Channel 4, and the Discovery Channel. [1] The Behaviour of Moths has been read on the BBC's Book at Bedtime over ten episodes on Radio 4 by Stephanie Cole. [5] She has also featured on the BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour . [6]

Poppy Adams lives with her husband and three children in London. [7]
