The Port of Mattawa is a port district in southern Grant County. Its creation was approved by the voters of Grant County, Washington state, on November 4, 1958. The City of Mattawa and Desert Aire are communities within the Port of Mattawa's district.
The port retains three major properties, Wahluke Industrial Park, Sentinel Gap Industrial Park and the Pat-Chee Industrial Park.
The port came into being on November 4, 1958 by the citizens of the Mattawa area. During the 1950s and 1960s, the port district focused on industrial development. [1]
In 1964, the Port of Mattawa joined the Washington Public Ports Association. [1]
In 1997 the port purchased properties for business development. [1]
In 2008 the port received funding through loans and grants to create a wastewater facility for wine processing. [1]
The current Executive Director, since 2014, is Lars Leland. There are also three members of the Board of Commissioners: Verlyn Coulson (District 1), Lauri Dayton (District 2), and Glenn Leland (District 3). [2]

Howard Terminal Ballpark is a proposed ballpark to be built in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland, California. It is proposed as the new home of the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. It would serve as the replacement of their current home at Oakland Coliseum. After several unsuccessful attempts to build a new stadium, both in Oakland and elsewhere, the Athletics landed on their current plan, which is to build a 34,000-seat stadium at Howard Terminal. The site is currently a parcel of land owned by the Port of Oakland in Jack London Square. After securing the site, the Athletics plan to have the stadium built and operational after its lease ends at Oakland Coliseum in 2024.

Putnam County Port Authority is a public corporation established to develop and manage port facilities in Putnam County, Florida. Created in 1967 by Florida Law 67-1967, the port district is one of 16 in the Sunshine State. The Port Authority also owns and maintains industrial and commercial development areas. The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners serves as the governing body of the entity. Considered a component unit, elected county officials set policies and oversee major expenditures. The board does not hold regular meetings of the Port Authority; rather, meetings are held on a situational basis. Putnam County Public Works and the Port Authority are understood as blended units; as such, day-to-day operations are carried out by the office of Public Works.
The Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania--known colloquially as the RIDC--is a privately funded non-profit serving the Pittsburgh metropolitan area to focus on a regional approach to economic development primarily through managing and rehabilitating area research and business parks for modern tenants. The RIDC was formed on August 8, 1955 as a non-profit corporation after area business, corporate, government and labor leaders supported a central agency responsible for developing and coordinating efforts to create new employment and economic diversity. As of March 2013 it is listed as the third largest commercial property manager in metropolitan Pittsburgh with 7,400,000 gross leasable square feet, behind only Oxford Development and CBRE Group while surpassing Jones Lang LaSalle.
Residence Park is a historic community located in the city of New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York. It is one of the first planned residential parks, and garden city communities, in the United States. It is located in the southern section of the city, bordered by Neptune Park on the west, Shore Road and Long Island Sound on the south, and Downtown New Rochelle on the north.
