A mashup is a creative work, usually a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, typically by superimposing the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another and changing the tempo and key where necessary. Such works are considered "transformative" of original content and in the United States they may find protection from copyright claims under the "fair use" doctrine of copyright law.

"Bale Out: RevoLucian's Christian Bale Remix!" is a satirical dance remix by American composer Lucian Piane, also known as RevoLucian, released on February 2, 2009, to YouTube and Myspace. The piece parodies Christian Bale by utilizing audio from a July 2008 rant made by the actor on the set of Terminator Salvation. Various other elements are used in the remix, including pulsating dance track beats and clips of Barbra Streisand from a 2006 exchange with a supporter of then-President George W. Bush, creating the impression of Streisand arguing with Bale.

The song was written and performed by Gary Go with music produced by Benny and Alle Benassi. It was released on 8 March 2011 by Ultra Records and All Around the World, on Benny Benassi's fourth studio album Electroman. The song made its first appearance in the video game Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit in November 2010, months before the song was released as a single. The single EP featured several remixes by Skrillex, Laidback Luke, Alex Gaudino and Congo Rock. The Skrillex remix went on to become a hit in its own right, remaining on Billboard's Dance chart for over two years after its release and winning a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording. Artist and producer Kanye West referred to it as "one of the greatest works of art ever made". The song featured in the trailer for the video game Sonic Lost World and in-games Forza Horizon and Beat Fever, as well as soundtracking promos for the WWE Network. The song has been streamed over a billion times online across streaming platforms. The song was further re-imagined by Gary Go on his soundtrack EP Now Was Once the Future and again by electronic dance music duo Galantis in 2020.

The song features uncredited vocals from Heather Bright. The song received remixes from producers Kayzo together with Gammer, and from Jauz.
"Pop Culture" is a mash-up song created by Hugo Pierre Leclercq, better known by his stage name, Madeon. The song was recorded on-the-fly by Leclercq, when he was seventeen years old, using samples from 39 popular songs, mixed using the software FL Studio controlled with a Novation Launchpad. Leclercq recorded a video of him creating the mix which he uploaded to YouTube on 11 July 2011. The video went viral within a few days of release, and it has subsequently been seen more than 60 million times. The video drew attention to Leclercq and would lead to him being signed by Columbia Records and launching his music career.
"Some Other Summer" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, written by Per Gessle and released on 17 June 2016 as the second single from Roxette's tenth studio album, Good Karma. Prior to this, a remix by French DJ Sebastien Drums was issued as a non-album single on 6 November 2015, with Drums also creating a music video for his version of the song. An official music video was not made for Roxette's album version, although a fan-made video became a viral hit after Gessle publicised it via Roxette's official social media accounts. The latter clip proved controversial in parts of eastern Europe.

Ephixa is also known for the first ever single released by Canadian record label Monstercat, "Dubstep Killed Rock 'n' Roll".

The podcast consisted primarily of reviews and commentary on pop-culture phenomena such as movies, video games, television programs, and comic books. Debuting on March 27, 2007, The Totally Rad Show was hosted by Alex Albrecht, Jeff Cannata, and Dan Trachtenberg, with episodes releasing once a week. In September 2010, the show switched to a daily release schedule. On November 19, 2012, The Totally Rad Show released an episode titled "A Look Back – Episode 1 " where they announced that the podcast would be coming to an end as of November 26, 2012.
