Puneeth Rajkumar, affectionately known as Appu, was an Indian actor, playback singer, film producer, television presenter and philanthropist who worked in Kannada cinema. He was the youngest son of legendary actor and matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar. He was one of the most popular actors in Kannada cinema. He appeared as a lead in 32 films. As a child, he appeared in many films. His performances as a child actor in Vasantha Geetha (1980), Bhagyavantha (1981), Chalisuva Modagalu (1982), Eradu Nakshatragalu (1983), Bhakta Prahaladha (1983), Yarivanu (1984) and Bettada Hoovu (1985) were praised. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for his role of Ramu in Bettada Hoovu. He also won Karnataka State Award Best Child artist for Chalisuva Modagalu and Eradu Nakshatragalu. Puneeth's first lead role was in 2002's Appu. In a career spanning three decades, he has won one National Film Award, four Karnataka State Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards South and five SIIMA awards. He was conferred with the Doctorate by Mysuru University. The Karnataka Government conferred the state's highest civilian award, Karnataka Ratna, to Puneeth Rajkumar on 1 November 2022, posthumously.
Diganth Manchale, known professionally as Diganth, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Kannada films. Diganth made his acting debut in Miss California (2006) and is best known for his performance in Gaalipata (2008). He is a recipient of two South Indian International Movie Awards along with nominations for four Filmfare Awards South.

Shiva, known by his screen name Sathish Ninasam, is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. Having made his film debut with Madesha (2008), Sathish appeared in small but significant roles in films like Manasaare (2009), Pancharangi (2010), Lifeu Ishtene (2011) and Anna Bond (2012). He shot to fame after his performance in Drama (2012). Sathish marked his debut as a hero in his 2013 film Lucia, which received critical acclaim nationally and internationally. His performance received rave reviews all over India.
Ricky is a 2016 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film written and directed by Rishab Shetty in his directorial debut, and produced by S. V. Babu. It stars Rakshit Shetty and Haripriya in the lead roles. The supporting cast features Achyuth Kumar and Ravi Kale. The film deals with the prevalence of naxalism in India, with a love story in the backdrop.

Bell Bottom: The Adventures of Detective Diwakara is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language crime comedy film directed by Jayatheertha and written by Dayanand T. K. Set in the 1980s, it is produced by Santhosh Kumar K. C. under the Golden Horse Cinema banner. Rishab Shetty and Hariprriya are in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Yogaraj Bhat and Pramod Shetty. The technical crew members include B. Ajaneesh Loknath as the music composer, Aravind Kashyap as the cinematographer, K. M. Prakash as the editor and Raghu Niduvalli as the dialogue writer. It was shot in Sagara taluk in Shivamogga. Parts of the police station sequences were shot in Udupi.
D/O Parvathamma is a 2019 Indian Kannada action drama film written and directed Shankar J and starring Hariprriya and Sumalatha along with Suraj Gowda and Prabhu Mundkur. The film is Hariprriya's 25th Kannada Movie. The project was announced on 25 May 2018.

The film is based on the viral "Blue Whale Challenge". The film was released on 28 February 2020.
Petromax is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film written and directed by Vijaya Prasad. The film is produced by Sathish Ninasam and Vijaya Prasad under the banner Sathish Picture House. It stars Sathish Ninasam and Hariprriya alongside Karunya Ram. The story of the film revolves around the lives of four orphans and how they find love in an older woman.
Yadha Yadha Hi is a 2023 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film directed by Ashok Teja. The film was produced by Rajesh Agarwal under Guys & Dolls Creations. The film stars Hariprriya, Diganth and Vasishta N. Simha in lead roles, alongside Avinash, Swathi, and Manju Pavagada in supporting roles. The film is a remake of 2019 Telugu film Evaru, directed by Venkat Ramji, which itself was loosely based on the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest (2016) by Oriol Paulo.
Murphy is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language science fiction drama film co-written and directed by BSP Varma. The film features Prabhu Mundkur, Roshni Prakash, Ila Veermalla, and H. G. Dattatreya in lead roles, alongside Ashwin Rao Pallakki, Mahantesh Hiremath, Rramprasadd Banavara, BSP Varma, and Master Dhawan in supporting roles.
