Pramod Kumar Sinha (also known as Pramod Kumar Sinha Kushwaha [1] ) is an Indian politician from Bihar and a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Sinha won the Raxaul Constituency on the symbol of BJP in the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. [2] [3] [4] [5]
Sinha was a member of Janata Dal (United) and prior to Bihar Assembly elections of 2020,he joined Bhartiya Janata Party. Sinha was serving as District level president of Janata Dal United before joining Bhartiya Janata Party. After assuming the membership of the BJP,he was made a candidate for 2020 assembly elections from Raxaul Assembly constituency,keeping aside sitting Member of Legislative Assembly,Ajay Singh. In response to candidature of Sinha,protests were organised by the supporters of Ajay Singh;the supporters of Singh contested the decision of BJP leadership on the question of rejecting his candidature in favour of Sinha. It was during tenure of Sinha in 2022 that a food laboratory was established in Raxaul. A sub-divisional hospital was also inaugurated by union minister Mansukh Mandaviya. This laboratory was aimed at increasing the import and export of food products as the quality testing of those products could take place locally promoting swift movement of the cargo. [1]
Ritlal Yadav or Ritlal Ray is a leader of RJD who won the Bihar Legislative Council election in July 2015 as an independent candidate. Ritlal was in jail in connection with multiple criminal cases,including murder charges. Ritlal is accused in over 33 cases. He was a former Member of Legislative Council (MLC),the post,to which he was elected in 2016. He was incarcerated in Beur Jail until August 2020. However he was then released from the jail on bail. Ritlal Yadav defeated BJP's Asha Devi Sinha in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.
Abhay Kushwaha alias is an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal,and a Member of Parliament representing Aurangabad in Bihar,India and former Member of Legislative Assembly for Tikari in the Gaya district of Bihar. An erstwhile member of Janata Dal (United);he won the 2015 Legislative Assembly election to the Tekari constituency by defeating Anil Kumar of Hindustani Awam Morcha,a political party led by former Bihar Chief Minister,Jitan Ram Manjhi. He defeated Anil Kumar by a huge margin of votes. While Abhay secured 86,975 votes,Anil managed to get 55,162 votes only. In 2024 Indian general election,he won the Aurangabad,Bihar Lok Sabha constituency by defeating BJP's four term member of parliament,Sushil Kumar Singh. He contested on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal in this election.
Ajay Kumar also known as Ajay Kushwaha is an Indian politician and leader of Party Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Bihar Legislative Assembly. He represents Communist Party of India (Marxist). He got elected from Bibhutipur Vidhan Sabha Constituency in 2020 Bihar State Assembly Elections. He is well known for his social work and kind hearted behaviour. In Ujiarpur he is well known politician as he contested from there too before contesting from Bibhutipur. In 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections,he defeated Ram Balak Singh of Janata Dal (United) by a margin of 40,496 votes.

In 2010 and 2015 assembly elections to Bihar Legislative Assembly,he won as a candidate of Janata Dal (United). In 2015 assembly elections,he defeated Ram Dev Varma of Communist Party of India (Marxist). However,in 2020 assembly elections,he lost to Ajay Kumar of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He has also served on the key position of the ruling party JDU,which includes the General Secretary of Bihar wing of Janata Dal (United).

In this election,he defeated the second runner-up,Sunil Kumar Pintu of Bhartiya Janata Party. In the 2015 elections,Kumar secured 81,557 votes,and the margin of his victory was nine percent votes more than his opponent. In 2020 Bihar Assembly elections,Kumar was pitted against Mithilesh Kumar of Bhartiya Janata Party;latter was able to defeat him with a margin of 11,475 votes. It was believed by the poll strategists that Kumar will get the votes from Other Backward Class and Muslims,while his opponent would be supported by Forward Castes. However,in the final counting of votes,Kumar was defeated.

He stood first in the triangular electoral contest involving National Democratic Alliance candidate and Rashtriya Lok Morcha president,Upendra Kushwaha and Pawan Singh.
