Pramod Shetty is married to Supreetha Shetty, an actress, since 2010 and they have two children. [5]

Early life

Born to erstwhile hotelier Raju Shetty and homemaker Devaki as the youngest child, pramod has two elder siblings, Pallavi and Prassanna. Pramod completed his early education in Nalanda and Theresa schools and continued the rest of his academic journey in BHS group institutions from grade 5 till the completion of his graduation. His time at BHS institutions deeply influenced Pramod. He joined the Rangasourabha theatre group while attending BHS. It represented a turning point in his life, where a new dimension was added to his existence. Pramod Shetty completely surrendered to the stage. He took up new skills like set design, execution, acting, music, singing, etc. right away and became quite adept at the skills. He soon started directing workshops for aspiring actors.[ citation needed ] As an actor in Rangsourabha Pramod acted in several plays sucsh as Shatavi, Maatruka, Savu Bantu Savu, Maadari Maadayya and Kaakanakote, for which Pramod bagged a Best actor award at the State level theatre competition for his portrayal of Kaka. [6] Pramod Shetty has worked with the stalwarts of Indian theatre such as Jayashree, Pramod Shiggav, Jayaram Tatachar, Basavalingaih, Krishmurthy Kavattar and Nataraj Honnavali, which helped him hone his craft immensely. Pramod Shetty made his theatre directorial debut with the drama 'Male Nilluvavrege' for his home team Rangasourabha. [7] He also collaborated for international productions Zappadockel and Wok, and Robinson and crusoe produced by the pre-eminent theatre space, Ranga Shankara. [8] [9]

Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. Ajaneesh Loknath and Charan Raj composed the soundtrack, with the former composing the score, whereas Karm Chawla handled the cinematography. Described by Shetty as "Southern Odd Fiction", the film follows a corrupt police officer who takes on a bandit chief in order to recover a missing treasure in the 1980s.
