Praveen Tej is an Indian film and television actor, known for his works in Kannada. [1] Praveen made his feature film debut in Kannada film industry with Jolly Days (2009). [2] He is known for his performance in Simpallag Innondh Love Story (2016) and Mundina Nildana (2019). [3] [4] [5]

Early life

Praveen Tej was born on 3 December 1984 in Hosanagara, Shimoga district to Lakshmana Gowda and Padmavathi.

Career

He made his debut in the Kannada film industry with movie Jolly Days (2009), where he played one of the lead roles, Praveena. He was later part of a Kannada reality show aired on Suvarna TV, Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru (2011). [6]

He acted television series, Radha Kalyana (2012) [7] was aired Zee Kannada.

Praveen later starred in film Aantharya as Krishna (2013) directed by Anney Santhosh Gowda. He played the role of Kush in the film Simpallag Innondh Love Story (2016), a sequel of Kannada hit Simple Agi Ondh Love Story . His other films 5G (2017), [8] Kuchiku Kuchiku (2018).

His next movie was the crime thriller Churikatte in 2018. [9] He acted in the film Striker (2019). [10] His next movie, Mundina Nildana (2019) [11] was a hit.

Personal life

Praveen married Deepika Nazre in 2014 and has a son. [12]

Jolly Days is an Indian 2009 Kannada-language film directed by M. D. Sridhar and produced by Madireddy Param under Young Dream Productions. The film featured mostly newcomers in lead roles including Pradeep, Aishwarya Nag, Vishwas, Praveen Tej and others. The music was scored by Mickey J. Meyer. It is a remake of the 2007 Telugu movie Happy Days. It was released in India on 23 January 2009 and became a hit.

Churikatte is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language crime drama film directed by Raghu Shivamogga and starring Praveen Tej, Prerana Kambam, Achyuth Kumar, Sharath Lohitashwa and Balaji Manohar. The film takes place in a village named Churikatte in Malenadu and is about the timber mafia. The film is about how a stolen pistol affects the life of different people. Churikatte released to unanimous positive reviews.

Abhishek Ambareesh is an Indian actor who has worked predominantly in Kannada language films. The son of actors-politicians Ambareesh and Sumalatha, Abhishek made his debut as a lead actor in the romantic action film, Amar (2019).
