The first Presbyterian Church in Grenada was founded by the Scots, this was the St. Andrews Kirk and was associated with the Church of Scotland. It was opened on 14 July 1833. [1] After the abolition of slavery in 1880, this work spread on the island. In Belair, Grenada and St. Patrick's in Samaritans progress was notable. In 1945 the Church of Scotland withdrew to support the mission in Grenada and St. Vincent Island. It was suggested to unite with the Methodist, but strong resistance occurred and later they associated themselves with the Presbyterian Church in Trinidad and Tobago, become the Northern Presbytery of that denomination. The church grew significantly. On April 20, 1986, it became autonomous. The Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed and Westminster Confession of Faith. The Presbyterian Church in Granada has four congregations and almost 900 members. [2] It is affiliated with the World Communion of Reformed Churches. [3]

The Presbyterian Church of Africa was founded in 1898 by Rev. James Mzimba, who broke from the Church of Scotland. He was born in Ngquakai, and his father was a deacon in the Presbyterian Church. Mzimba become a pastor, and was ordained in 1875. He was sent to Scotland to the anniversary of the Free Church of Scotland, but later severed its ties with the denomination. In 1899 he founded his own independent Presbyterian church. He died in 1911. The first Synod was constituted in Alice, Cape Colony. Mzambi had a dispute with the Free Church of Scotland over land and over the use of money. The Presbyterian Church of Africa is a predominantly black church. It was a small group of churches with 2 presbyteries. The church grew steadily. It is one of the oldest independent churches in Africa.

The Christ Church in Warwick is a member of the Church of Scotland, established in 1719 as the first Presbyterian congregation in Bermuda. The Presbyterian Church of Mauritius emerged from the Church of Scotland's and the Independent church of Mauritius' discussion with the help of the Rev Jean Le Brun in 1814, they created a single congregation. Now it consists of 4 French speaking and 1 English speaking congregations. These are the St. André in, St. Columba, St. Jean, St. Joseph and St. Pierre parishes throughout the island. The churches located in Rose Hill, Mauritius, Grand Gaube, Pointe-aux-Piments, Phoenix, Mauritius and Port Louis, Mauritius. It has presbyterian church government with parish council, synodal council and Synod and subscribes the Westminster Confession of Faith. The Synod meets annually. Each parish choose its own elders. Baptism and Lords Supper is the recognised Sacraments. Total membership is approximately 800-900.
