Pritiranjan Gharai (born 6 October 1973) is an Indian politician from Odisha who was serving as the Minister of Rural Development,Skill Development &Technical Education in the Government of Odisha. [3] [4] He ex Member of the Legislative Assembly in Odisha Legislative Assembly from Sukinda. [5]
He was sworn in as minister on 5th June 2022. Earlier,he was a member of the 14th &15th Odisha Legislative Assembly. In 2024 Assembly elections he was defeated by a huge margin by BJP candidate Pradeep Bal Samanta. [6] [7] [8]
The Biju Janata Dal is an Indian regional political party with significant influence in the state of Odisha.
