Profronde van Oostvoorne (English: Proftour of Oostvoorne) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in Oostvoorne, the Netherlands. The first edition was in 1985. The event is one of the post-Tour de France criteriums. [1] [2] [3]

The Vrouwen Eredivisie, also known as the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie due to a sponsorship contract, is the highest women's football league in the Netherlands. Organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), it was established in 2007 as a professional league and played for five seasons until 2012, when the Netherlands and Belgium merged their leagues into a single combined league, the BeNe League. After three seasons, the BeNe League folded, and the Eredivisie restarted in the 2015–16 season. The top two Eredivisie teams each year qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2011–12 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the fifth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. After a troubled build-up, the season took place from 2 September 2011 to 18 May 2012 with seven teams.

FC Twente Vrouwen is the women's football section of Dutch club FC Twente, based in Enschede, and competes in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top women's league in the Netherlands. Founded in 2007, it is one of the original members of the Eredivisie. It has been the most successful modern Dutch women's club, winning nine national championships, including two BeNe League titles, as well as winning the KNVB Women's Cup, KNVB Women's Super Cup, and Eredivisie Cup three times each. AZ successfully defended the title and became champions for the third consecutive season. The 60 matches of the season had a 22,140 total attendance.

FC Utrecht Vrouwen is the women's football section of Dutch club FC Utrecht based in Utrecht. Established in 2007, as one of the founding members of the professional Dutch women's Eredivisie. The team competed in the Eredivisie from its inaugural season of 2007–08 until 2011–12 and then in the BeNe League, made of up Belgian and Dutch teams, from 2012–13 until the team's dissolution in January 2014. Before its dissolution, the club won the Dutch Cup once and the Dutch Women's Super Cup once.
The club rejoined the Eredivisie beginning in the 2023–24 season.

The 2012–13 season of the Women's BeNe League was the first season of the Belgium and the Netherlands' women's football top level league. Since this was the first season, the league had no reigning champion, although both countries had reigning champions from their former top leagues—Standard Liège in Belgium and ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands. The season started on 24 August 2012. The championship was won by FC Twente.

Omloop der Kempen is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in Veldhoven, Netherlands. From 2005 to 2014, the men's event was held as a UCI 1.2 rated event on the UCI Europe Tour. In 2015, the race was moved to the national calendar. Since 1997 there is also a women's event. The women's race also had the names GP Van der Heijden and GP Sankomij Veldhoven.

The 2016–17 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the seventh season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season took place from 2 September 2016 to 26 May 2017 with eight teams. Defending champions FC Twente finished second behind Ajax, who won their first Dutch championship.

The 2018–19 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the ninth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season took place from 7 September 2018 to 3 May 2019 with nine teams. Twente won the league championship, its third Eredivisie title, after trailing PSV at the end of the regular season. Twente clinched its tile by defeating PSV in its penultimate match.

The 2019–20 Eredivisie Vrouwen is the tenth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season was intended to last from 23 August 2019 to 22 May 2020, but was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Twente began the season as defending champion, and no new champion was crowned.

The 2020–21 Eredivisie Vrouwen is the eleventh season of the Netherlands women's top professional football league. FC Twente, the reigning champions from the 2018-19 season, repeated as champions.

The 2021–22 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the twelfth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. Defending champions Twente won the league title for the third time in a row. The season saw Feyenoord entering the league, which expanded to nine teams. Feyenoord's final home game of the season, against AFC Ajax, attracted 14,618 fans, more than four times any other match in the season.
