The Progressive National Movement (Spanish: Movimiento Nacional Progresista) is a progressive political party in Colombia. [1] In the legislative elections, 10 March 2002, the party won as one of the many small parties participating in parliamentary representation. The party took part in the parliamentary elections of 2006, in which it won 1 out of 166 deputies and no senators. The party was of little significance in the 14 March 2010 elections.

Presidential elections were held in Colombia on 25 May 2014. Since no candidate received 50% of the vote in the first round, a run-off between the two candidates with the most votes took place three weeks later on 15 June 2014. According to the official figures released by the National Registry office, as of 22 May 2014 32,975,158 Colombians were registered and entitled to vote in the 2014 presidential election, including 545,976 Colombians resident abroad. Incumbent president Juan Manuel Santos was allowed to run for a second consecutive term. In the first round, Santos and Óscar Iván Zuluaga of the Democratic Center were the two highest-polling candidates and were the contestants in the 15 June run-off. In the second round, Santos was re-elected president, gaining 51% of the vote compared with 45% for Zuluaga.
Parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 16 March 2014, with nineteen electoral lists competing for 250 members of the National Assembly. The election was called early, after tensions in the coalition led by the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić scheduled the election at the same time as the previously announced Belgrade City Assembly election. Voter turnout was 53.09%, with 3.22% of votes invalid.
Vladimir Orlić is a Serbian politician who served as president of the National Assembly of Serbia from 2022 to 2024. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), he has served in the National Assembly of Serbia since 2014. He has been serving as the vice president of SNS since November 2021. Orlić is known for insulting political opponents and his harsh rhetoric.
