The Huila New and Liberalism (Huila Nueva y Liberalismo) is a regional political party in Colombia, [1] closely affiliated to the Liberal Party of Colombia. In the 2006 legislative elections on the 12th of March, the party won 2 seats in the Chamber of Representatives.
Neiva is the capital and most populated city of the Department of Huila. It is located in the valley of the Magdalena River in south central Colombia with a municipal population of 357,392. It is one of the most important cities in southern Colombia, mainly because of its strategic geographical location.
New Liberalism is a political party in Colombia. Originally founded by Luis Carlos Galán in 1979 as a dissident force of the Colombian Liberal Party and dissolved in the 1990s, the party was refounded in 2021 by two of his sons, Juan Manuel Galán Pachón and Carlos Fernando Galán.

Deportes Quindío is a Colombian professional football club based in Armenia that currently plays in the Categoría Primera B. The club was founded on 8 January 1951, and its best achievement was winning the 1956 league tournament. They play their home games at the Centenario stadium. The club was called Atlético Quindío from 1953 to 1963.
Nevado del Huila at 5,364 metres (17,598 ft), is the highest volcano in Colombia, located at the tripoint of the departments of Huila, Tolima and Cauca. It is visible from the city of Cali. The andesitic volcano is located on top of the Ibagué Batholith.
Paéz is a municipality in the Cauca Department, Colombia. The town of Belalcazar, is the main urban center of the Municipality. It was founded in 1905 by Valencia, Mosquera and Lemus. The town is located by the steps of the Nevado del Huila Volcano, the municipality borders to the northeast with the Tolima Department, to the west with the Huila Department, southwest with the municipality of Inza, to the west with the municipalities of Silvia and Jambalo and to the north with the municipality of Toribio covering a total area of 1,258 km2 (486 sq mi).

Its territorial extension is 589 km², its altitude is 575 meters above sea level and its climate is warm with an average temperature of 26°C.
Villavieja is a town and municipality in the Huila Department, Colombia. The municipality covers most of the Tatacoa Desert. The town is built on the banks of the Magdalena River.
