Prop Culture is an American documentary television series hosted by Dan Lanigan. The series premiered on Disney+ on May 1, 2020. [3] In May 2023, it was removed from the service. [4]

Premise

The series is hosted by film historian and collector Dan Lanigan, who explores and showcases costumes, set designs, music, and props from various Disney films. [5] [6] Throughout each episode, Lanigan conducts interviews with guests from each film's cast and crew, providing in-depth insights into the production and legacy of each film. [7]

Films highlighted in the series include Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl , Mary Poppins , Tron , The Nightmare Before Christmas , The Muppet Movie , Who Framed Roger Rabbit , The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe , and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids . [8]

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a 1989 American science fiction comedy film. It is the first installment of a film franchise and served as the directorial debut of Joe Johnston. The film stars Rick Moranis, Matt Frewer, Marcia Strassman, and Kristine Sutherland. In the film, a struggling inventor accidentally shrinks his and his neighbors' children to a height of a quarter of an inch. After being accidentally thrown out with the trash, the children must work together and venture their way back through a backyard wilderness filled with dangerous insects and man-made hazards.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: Movie Set Adventure was a playground at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It was located in the Streets of America area and was based on Disney's 1989 film, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The playground, which opened a year and a half after the film, featured 30-foot-tall (9.1 m) blades of grass, and was themed as a movie set for the giant backyard scenes from the film. Children could roam through the playground, exploring giant ants and a huge dog's nose.

Disney's Animated Storybook is a point-and-click adventure interactive storybook video game series based on Walt Disney feature animations and Pixar films that were released throughout the 1990s. They were published by Disney Interactive for personal computers for children ages four to eight years old. Starting from 1994, most of the entries in the series were developed by Media Station. They have the same plots as their respective films, though abridged due to the limited medium.

The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney+. The series is a continuation and revival of the Emmy Award-winning 2013 Mickey Mouse shorts, uses the same style, and has many of the same cast and crew, with the exception of the late Russi Taylor, who was replaced by Kaitlyn Robrock in the role of Minnie Mouse. The series premiered on November 18, 2020 to coincide with Mickey's 92nd birthday. The animation is provided by Mercury Filmworks.
