Savatiya is an former Russian Air Force air base in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia located 29 km south of Kotlas. It is a small interceptor airfield. It was home to 445th Interceptor Aviation Regiment between 1967 and 1993, which received Tupolev Tu-128 aircraft in 1967, Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 aircraft by the late 1970s, and Mikoyan MiG-31 by the 1990s. It is also listed as being home to 458th Interceptor Aviation Regiment which flew MiG-31s in the 1990s.
Tapa Airfield is an unused air base in Estonia located 3 km (1.9 mi) southwest of Tapa. During the Cold War it was home to the 656th Fighter Aviation Regiment PVO. For most of the time the regiment was part of the 14th Air Defence Division of the 6th Air Defence Army.
Haapsalu Airfield or Kiltsi Airfield(ICAO: EEHU); is a disused airfield in Estonia, located 4 km (2.5 mi) southwest of Haapsalu. It was first built by the Soviets in 1939. During the Soviet era it was an interceptor aircraft base. It was a small fighter airfield with a few revetments. It was home to 425th Interceptor Aviation Regiment between 1970 and 1992, flying up to 38 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 jets in 1991. The airfield has been abandoned since the Soviet army left it in the early 1990s.
Smirnykh is an abandoned Russian Air Force airbase in Sakhalin, Russia located 2 km east of the village of the same name. It appeared in June 1966 KH-7 imagery with a runway length of 2,000 m. It was expanded sometime after this to 2,500 m with a new extension of revetments added.
Rzhev is an air base of the Russian Air Force in Tver Oblast, Russia located 5 km east of Rzhev. It was a Tupolev Tu-128 depot airfield during the Cold War, operated by BKhAT. The airfield also had an interceptor role with the 23rd Interceptor Aviation Regiment between 1950 and 1980. This regiment was disbanded in the early 1980s but was resurrected a decade later at Dzyomgi Airport in the Russian Far East.
