Psycho Bunny is a privately held men's, women's, and children's clothing company founded in 2005; [1] it has offices in its founding city of New York and headquarters in Montreal. [1] Alen Brandman, CEO of Thread Collective, took ownership of the company in 2021. [2] [3] In 2022, Psycho Bunny opened stores in Kenwood Towne Centre, Ross Park Mall, and Easton Town Center. [4] In Fall 2023, Psycho Bunny opened a location in West Edmonton Mall. [5]

In 2005, Godley founded men's contemporary label Psycho Bunny with friend and business partner Robert Goldman. [6] Handmade from English silk, Psycho Bunny neckwear features everything from tiny spades to Donnie Darko-style rabbit skulls, the latter inspiring the label's name. [ citation needed ] Godley once stated: "When I showed that tie to a buyer, she said, look at the psycho bunny! The name stuck". [6] Since the initial launch of the Psycho Bunny neckwear collection, the brand has expanded into multiple categories including polo shirts and t-shirts, bottoms, cashmere scarves and socks, and most recently a golf collection. [7]

National Bank Open Tennis Tournament Sponsorship

Since 2024, Psycho Bunny has been a silver-tier sponsor of the National Bank Open (NBO) tennis tournament in both Montreal and Toronto, Canada [8] . The brand signed a multi-year contract from 2024 to 2027 to be a sponsor of the tournaments in both cities [8] . They are the official athletic apparel sponsor for Tennis Canada across these tournaments (as well as the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup) [8] . They supply the outfits for all volunteers who participate in organizing and running the tournaments [8] . They also put a stand in the premises of both tournaments in which people can buy exclusive clothing [9] .
