Kiss×sis is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Bow Ditama. It began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Young Magazine in December 2005. It was then moved and serialized in Weekly Young Magazine from 2008 to 2009, and was serialized in Monthly Young Magazine from 2009 to 2021. Kodansha collected its chapters in twenty-five tankōbon volumes. It was adapted into an original video animation series, released from December 2008 to April 2015. A 12-episode anime television series by Feel aired from April to June 2010 on AT-X.

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes is a media franchise owned by the Japanese trading card game company Bushiroad. The first release was an Internet radio drama, released in December 2009. An anime adaptation by J.C.Staff aired between October and December 2010, with a special episode aired on August 26, 2011. The second anime season aired between January and March 2012 with another special aired on August 25, 2012. A third series, titled Futari wa Milky Holmes, aired between July and September 2013. A fourth series titled Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD aired between January and March 2015. Mayumi Gojo is a Japanese singer from Ibaraki Prefecture. She formerly worked under Hyper Voice Managements. Currently she is affiliated with the Love&Light talent management agency. Gojo is known for her theme song performances for anime series such as Ojamajo Doremi, Pretty Cure, and Yumeiro Patissiere. She has performed as part of Project.R and also provides backup chorus for other artists.

ClariS is a Japanese pop music duo which formed in 2009 with singers Clara and Alice from Hokkaido, who were in junior high school at the time. Egoist is a Japanese pop music duo consisting of songwriter Ryo of Supercell and vocalist Chelly. Originally formed to produce theme music for the 2011 anime television series Guilty Crown, the group continued creating other songs after the end of the series including themes for other anime television series including Psycho-Pass and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. Birthday peaked at No. 2 on the Japanese Oricon weekly albums chart and was awarded a Gold Disc by the Recording Industry Association of Japan in May 2012.

Yuiko Ōhara is a Japanese singer and songwriter from Chiba Prefecture who is affiliated with Toho Animation Records. Starting her career as a live performer in 2012, she would also participate in several auditions and competitions. She made her major debut in 2015 with the song "Magic Parade", which was used as the theme song to the short film Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade. Apart from Little Witch Academia, her music has also been featured in anime series such as Land of the Lustrous, Teasing Master Takagi-san, Hanebado!, and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
