Pushkar Shivkumar Sharma, also known as Puoshkar Sharma, [1] is a Kenyan cricketer [2] who has played for the Kenya national cricket team. [3]

Sharma, who was born in India, captained the Mumbai Under-16 cricket team. [4] [5] In 2019, he moved to Kenya and joined Ruaraka Sports Club. He played in the Nairobi Province Cricket Association league, where he became the top scorer with 841 runs in 14 innings. [6] He was selected for the Kenya national cricket team in 2022, [7] [8] making his international debut opening the batting for Kenya in the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers. [9] He played in the 2025 Pearl of Africa T20 Series series [10] and for the Kenyan team at the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League later in the year. [11] [12]

Family

Sharma married Sita Mishra on 7 December 2023. [13] The couple had their first child in 2024. [14] He lives in Nairobi and works as a marketing manager.[ citation needed ]
