Lombok is an island in West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. It forms part of the chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the Lombok Strait separating it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa to the east. It is roughly circular, with a "tail" to the southwest, about 70 kilometres across and a total area of about 4,738.65 square kilometres including smaller offshore islands. The provincial capital and largest city on the island is Mataram.
West Nusa Tenggara is a province of Indonesia. It comprises the western portion of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the exception of Bali which is its own province. Mataram, on Lombok, is the capital and largest city of the province. It shares maritime borders with Bali to the west and East Nusa Tenggara to the east. Dhita Juliana is an Indonesian beach volleyball player. Born in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Juliana initially started her career as an indoor volleyball player when she was in the elementary school. She then continued as a beach volleyball player after joining the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs programme in 2008. Partnered with Putu Utami, she won the gold medal for the West Nusa Tenggara province at the 2012 Pekan Olahraga Nasional held in Riau. In the international event, she was the gold medalist at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. She also won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand. In 2018, she claimed the bronze medal at the Asian Games.
Ade Candra Rachmawan is an Indonesian beach volleyball player from Yogyakarta. Rachmawan won the silver medal at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games partnered with Dian Putra Sentosa. Teamed-up with Koko Prasetyo Darkuncoro, they won the silver medal at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. He and Darkuncoro also competed at the 2014 Asian Games, finished in the fourth position after lost to Chinese pair in the bronze medal match. Rachmawan and Darkuncoro then claimed the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand.
Mohammad Ashfiya is an Indonesian beach volleyball player. He competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. In 2017, Ashfiya alongside Ade Candra Rachmawan competed at the 2017 World Championships but did not advance to the knockout stage after lost three matches in the group stage. He and Rachmawan then won a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Palembang, Indonesia.
Gilang Ramadhan is an Indonesian beach volleyball player from Bandar Lampung. Ramadhan was a gold medalist at the 2016 Pekan Olahraga Nasional held in Bandung, West Java, partnered with Ade Candra Rachmawan. He and Rachmawan also competed at the 2016 Asian Beach Games in Da Nang, Vietnam, finish in the fourth position after lost to Kazakhstani duo in the bronze medal match. In 2018, Ramadhan alongside Danangsyah Pribadi won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Palembang, Indonesia.
