Attila Sávolt is a tennis player from Hungary, who represented his native country at the 2000 Sydney Olympics where he lost to Paradorn Srichaphan in his first match. Starting his professional career in 1995, he peaked the ATP-ranking on May 20, 2002, reaching 68 on the world rankings. Surprisingly he has a 1-0 head to head against Tim Henman after beating the 4th seed 11th ranked in the 2003 Dubai Tennis Championships. He also defeated Jiří Novák in their only ATP Tour match-up at the 2002 Orange Warsaw Open, when the Czech was ranked 5th in the world. He participated in the 2004 Hopman Cup alongside Petra Mandula. He won the Hungarian Championships two times. He was coaching Márton Fucsovics and is currently a sports commentary on Sport 1.

Pécs 2010 is a defunct women's professional Basketball team based in Pécs, Hungary. It used to play in the NB I/A, the top division championship in the country and in EuroLeague Women from its foundation until 2011. The club ceased to exist in the summer of 2012 due to financial reasons. However, two other clubs were founded in the city, that took over the players, coaches and managers of Pécs 2010. These two new clubs are PEAC-Pécs and PINKK-Pécsi 424; they are competing in the NB I/A.

Ferencvárosi Torna Club is a Hungarian women's handball team from Budapest, that is part of the multi-sports club Ferencvárosi TC. Nicknamed Fradi, the team plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the top level championship in Hungary. They are one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won eleven Hungarian championships and as many Hungarian cup titles. FTC also enjoy a good reputation in continental competitions: they lifted the EHF Cup Winners' Cup trophy in 1978, 2011, and 2012, and they were also crowned as the EHF Cup winners in 2006. The team also reached the finals of the EHF Champions League two times, however, they fell short in both occasions.

Magyar Kupa is the main domestic cup for Hungarian women's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. If happens so, then the runners-up take the opportunity to represent Hungary in the forthcoming continental event for cup winners.

Pécs Organ Manufactory Ltd. (POM) was found in September, 1992. At the moment POM is the biggest organ building company in Hungary. The manufactory employs around 50 specialist who cover all fields of organbuilding. The webshop of the company was launched in 2009 which through they sell hundreds of organ parts.

Dalma Iványi is a Hungarian basketball player and coach, who played as a guard. She won 10 Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A Championships with Mizo Pécs 2010 and PINKK-Pécsi 424. She also played for Utah Starzz, Phoenix Mercury, and San Antonio Silver Stars in the American Women's National Basketball Association. Iványi is the current coach of Hungarian club UNI Győr.

Attila Herédi is a former Hungarian professional footballer who played as a defender, later became a football coach. He was a member of the Hungarian national football team.
