Sevnica is a town on the left bank of the Sava River in central Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Sevnica. It is one of the three major settlements in the Lower Sava Valley. St. Peter's Bridge, also Ambrož Bridge, is a bridge in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, that crosses the river Ljubljanica in the northeastern end of the old town. It is a continuation of Rozman Street. West of it lie Vraz Square on the northern (left) bank of the river and Ambrož Square on its southern (right) bank. East of it lies the Petkovšek Embankment on the northern bank and the Poljane Embankment on the southern bank. The bridge is named after the nearby St. Peter's Church. It is intended primarily for motorised traffic, but is also used by pedestrians.
St. James's Bridge in Ljubljana is a bridge that crosses the Ljubljanica River on the southern end of downtown Ljubljana, next to Zois Manor. It links Zois Street and Karlovac Street. The most important city traffic artery across the Ljubljanica runs across it.
The Ljubljanica Sluice Gate, or the Partition, is a sluice gate and a triumphal arch on the Ljubljanica River in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is located between Cukrarna and Vraz Square in the Center District, east of the Ljubljana old town, a bit downstream of Ambrož Square. It was designed in 1939 by the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik, who envisaged it as a monumental farewell to the Ljubljanica River on its exit from the Ljubljana city centre. It was planned to be used as a footbridge as well. The sluice gate was built with difficulty from 1940 until 1943 by the constructor Matko Curk. Since July 2009, it has been protected as a monument of national significance, along with other major works by Plečnik.
Crngrob is a small village in the Municipality of Škofja Loka in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.
Dobrova is a clustered settlement northwest of Ljubljana in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is the administrative centre of the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec. It lies on the road from Ljubljana to Polhov Gradec at the point where roads split off to Horjul to the southwest and to Šentvid, Ljubljana to the northeast. It extends along the flat area to the northeast up to the Gradaščica River and encompasses much of Dobrova Hill to the southwest. Bezenica Creek, Broad Creek, and Ječnik Creek, left tributaries of the Horjulščica River, flow through the hills west of the settlement. Dobrova includes the hamlets of Pod Kotom northwest of the main settlement and Graben southwest of the main settlement.
The Grain Bridge is a footbridge over the Ljubljanica River in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is located between Tanner Street and Gestrin Street, and links the Petkovšek Embankment on the left side of the river and the Poljane Embankment on its right side. It is used by local residents and students of the Poljane Grammar School and has relieved of pedestrians the St. Peter's Bridge and the Dragon Bridge.
Gornji Dolič is a village in the Municipality of Mislinja in northern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Carinthia and is now included in the Carinthia Statistical Region.
The Kucja Valley is a blind valley on the outskirts of Ljubljana, central Slovenia. Administratively, it belongs to the Dravlje District. The name may be derived from Slovene kucelj 'hill, rise', referring to the terminus of the valley. Geologically, it lies at the conjunction of a more gravelly layer with a more compact limestone layer.
The Hradecky Bridge is one of the first hinged bridges in the world, the first and only preserved cast iron bridge in Slovenia, and one of its most highly valued technical achievements. It spans the Ljubljanica River in Ljubljana. At the time of its construction, it was praised as elegant, very modern, and economical. Because it was later used to transport the dead from the Ljubljana hospital to the mortuary, it was nicknamed the Mortuary Bridge, but has retained its beauty and technical perfection. Throughout history, both names have persisted.
Zgornja Hrušica is a formerly independent settlement southeast of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

QSI International School of Astana is a branch of Quality Schools International located in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. QSI Astana was founded in 2005 as a non-profit, private institution. QSI International School of Astana has an English language of instruction; it offers a curriculum taught entirely in English from elementary school to secondary school. In 2013 a new facility completed construction. The facility contains 32 classrooms, 3 computer labs, an auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, outdoor soccer field and basketball court, and several playgrounds. Approximately 250 students with over 25 different nationalities are enrolled for the 2015-2016 school year. Classes range from Preschool to High School level.
QSI International School of Dushanbe is a branch of the non-profit organization Quality School International and is located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. QSI International School of Dushanbe was founded in 2004 as a private institution and currently has 84 students. QSI International School of Dushanbe teaches students from elementary school to secondary school with a curriculum entirely in English. In addition to English, there are also other foreign-language classes offered in Russian, German, French, and Chinese.
Danila Kumar International School is a private school in Slovenia that caters to students from over 40 nationalities, ranging from 3 to 15 years of age. It was established in 1993, and it has been an International Baccalaureate school since March 2, 1994. The school is named after the communist political commissar Danila Kumar (1921–1944).
The European School Ljubljana is a co-educational, Accredited European School in Ljubljana, Slovenia that serves students age 6 to 18. It was established in 2018 and is part of the Ljubljana School Centre. In the 2019/20 academic year the school offered programs in English and Slovene, and language instruction in French, German, Lithuanian, and Spanish. The school is certified to offer the European Baccalaureate as its secondary leaving qualification.
The French School in Ljubljana is a school in Slovenia that caters to students from over 15 nationalities, ranging from 3 to 15 years of age. It was established in 1991.
