The Qatar women's national volleyball team represents Qatar in international women's volleyball competitions and friendly matches.
The team has finished as runners-up in the 2005 and 2007 editions of the 1st Women Games of the Capitals, Islamic and Asian Countries. [1]
Jassim bin Hamad Stadium is an association football stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar, located about 5 kilometres west from the centre of Doha. It is the home of the Al Sadd Sports Club's association football team, who play in the top-flight Qatar Stars League, and is occasionally used by the Qatar men's and women's national football teams as one of their home grounds. Named after the then-Qatari Minister of Youth and Sports Jassim bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, who had provided permission for Al Sadd's founding members to form the group in 1969, the stadium was opened in 1975, and has since been renovated twice; once for the 17th Arabian Gulf Cup in 2004, and again in 2010. In addition to hosting all matches of the Arabian Gulf Cup in 2004, the stadium has hosted numerous international association football matches throughout its history, including matches of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, the football tournaments at the 2006 Asian Games and 2011 Pan Arab Games, and two editions of the Italian super cup, the Supercoppa Italiana.
Al-Rayyan Sports Club is a Qatari multi-sports club fielding teams in a number of sports such as football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming. It is based at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Umm Al Afaei in the city of Al Rayyan. The club was founded in 1967 after merging the old Rayyan team with Nusoor Club. The official team colours are red and black.

Foluke Atinuke Gunderson is an indoor volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Japanese club Hisamitsu Springs. Born in Canada, she represents the United States internationally. Gunderson won gold with the national team at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix, 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, silver at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Her 2020 Olympics win allowed her to complete the trifecta of winning an Olympic bronze, silver, and gold medal.
Seda Aslanyürek Tokatlıoğlu is a Turkish volleyball player. She is 192 cm tall and plays as an outside spiker. However, she played as an opposite both in Turkey women's national volleyball team and Beijing from China. Tokatlıoğlu has a block height of 304 cm and spike height of 312 cm and played more than 200 times for the national team. She studied at Gazi University.
Nedime Elif Ağca Yarar, also known as Nedime Elif Ağca Öner, is a retired national level Turkish volleyball player who last played for Fenerbahçe. She is 186 cm tall and plays as setter. She studied at Marmara University.

The team automatically qualified for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as Qatar were the hosts. In 2012 Al Arabi team qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as the Champion of AVC Club Volleyball Championship They have never advanced past the group stage in their appearances.

The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland.
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.
The Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, also known as the AVC Cup for Men, is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the top senior men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The tournaments have been awarded every two years since 2008. The current champion is China, which won its second title at the 2022 tournament.
Qatar competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Qatar represented by 20 national sport federations, with a plan of over 250 competitors who will be participating across 30 disciplines and also at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
