Queendom is the second album of the Japanese rock group Show-Ya. The album was released on 1 March 1986 in Japan. [1]
Show-Ya's second album was recorded with less external pressure than their debut album Masquerade Show and presents only songs composed and arranged by the band. The album was again mixed at Abbey Road Studios in London by Haydn Bendall. [2] The band shoot their first video clip for the single "Shidokenaku Emotion".
In this work the sound of the band is more identifiable and shows in many songs a powerful hard rock feel, with the strong interaction between keyboards and guitars that will become a characteristic feature of the band. [2] However, Terada's romantic lyrics and the acerbic looks of the costumed musicians seem to pigeonhole this work as a pop-rock album, in the vein of Princess Princess similar products.
×∞Multiplies is a mini-album and the third studio album by Yellow Magic Orchestra released in 1980. It contains a mixture of songs and instrumentals by YMO, interspersed with comedy sketches. These sketches are performed by Snakeman Show in both Japanese and English, with YMO participating in some of them.
Show-Ya are a Japanese all-female heavy metal band formed in 1981. The group disbanded in 1998, but reformed with the original line-up in 2005 for the 20th anniversary of their first release. Their music is deeply rooted in classic rock and they have covered songs by bands and artists such as The Beatles, The Doors, the Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and AC/DC in their albums and live shows. Their music evolved from the pop rock genre of their first offerings to the heavy metal genre of their most successful albums, Outerlimits (1989) and Hard Way (1990). Show-Ya annually organizes and produces the all-female rock festival Naon no Yaon, which they founded in 1987.

Glamour is the sixth album of the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The album was released on 24 August 1988. All musical arrangements are by Makoto Matsushita and Show-Ya. The single "Aisazu Ni Irarenai - Still Be Hangin' on" is Show-Ya's version of an unused demo from the recording sessions of Cheap Trick's Lap of Luxury album. The song is sung both in English and Japanese, with the lyrics translated by Keiko Terada. This album was mixed by Andy Johns in Los Angeles. It reached position No. 16 in the Japanese Oricon chart.
Outerlimits is the seventh album of the Japanese female hard rock group Show-Ya. The album was released on 6 September 1989, in Japan. The album was mixed at the famous Cherokee Studios in California and was arranged by Masanori Sasaji and Show-Ya. Lyricist Yoshihiko Andō wrote most of the lyrics for the songs of the album. This is the band's best selling album, with more than 100,000 copies sold in Japan. The first single "Genkai Lovers" sold more than 30,000 copies in Japan, being used for a commercial campaign.
Hard Way is the eighth album of the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, USA and produced by Beau Hill and by Kip Winger's brother Paul. It was released on 24 October 1990 and reached position No. 4 in Japan. All the lyrics were written by Yoshihiko Andō. This time all the musical arrangements were done by the band. It would be Show-Ya's last studio album with lead singer Keiko Terada. The track "Uchi ni Kaerou" was used as theme song for the anime OVA Cleopatra DC.
This My Way is a mini-album of the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The album was released on 2 February 1998 in Japan and had limited distribution. It is Show-Ya's only recording with singer Yoshino.

Keiko Terada is a Japanese rock singer. She was co-founder and lead singer of the successful Japanese female hard rock and heavy metal band Show-Ya from 1982 to 1991, before going solo. On her solo albums she expanded from hard rock and heavy metal to blues, pop and soul.
Complete Best: Back Fire is a compilation of songs and of the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The collection was released in 1992 in Japan. This compilation contains the previously unpublished hard rock cover of The Beatles song "Blackbird", recorded in 1988.
Show-Ya Twin Best is a double CD compilation of songs by the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The compilation was released in 1996 in Japan and refers mainly to songs from the first five albums of the band.
Cozy Powell Forever is a tribute album dedicated to the British rock drummer Cozy Powell, who died a few months before the album release. The album was produced by Japanese drummer Munetaka Higuchi, with the contribution of many prominent Japanese rock and metal musicians and of the western musicians Carmine Appice and Tony Franklin. The songs covered in the album span from the early career of Powell in the Jeff Beck Group, to his membership in Rainbow, Whitesnake and Michael Schenker Group, to his solo production. Higuchi brought the songs of this album on tour in Japan and in 1999 released a live album with recordings of a show held in Tokyo.
Genuine Diamond is the tenth studio album by the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. It was released on March 7, 2012 and is the first studio album recorded with the original line-up since Hard Way of 1990, 22 years before.
Progress is the 13th studio album by the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. It was released on 30 September 2015. The album includes two new versions of the 1989 hit single "Genkai Lovers", one featuring Japanese celebrity Namie Amuro.
