The Transitway is a bus rapid transit (BRT) network operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It comprises a series of bus-only roadways and reserved lanes on city streets and highways. The dedicated busways ensure that buses and emergency vehicles on the Transitway rarely intersect directly with the regular traffic, and make it possible for them to continue at full speed even during rush hour. OC Transpo operates a network of rapid routes which use the Transitway to connect communities with the O-Train light rail system. Additional bus routes also use segments of the Transitway.
Carling Avenue is a major east–west arterial road in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It runs from March Road in Kanata to Bronson Avenue in the Glebe. The road is named for John Carling, founder of Carling Brewery and Conservative MP and Senator, Postmaster General and Minister of Agriculture.
Hintonburg is a neighbourhood in Kitchissippi Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located west of the Downtown core. Lincoln Fields is a station on Ottawa's transitway located at Carling Avenue and the Kichi Zibi Mikan. It is adjacent to the now-shuttered Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre. It is the main western hub of the transitway system and has a ticket sales and information office as well as a small convenience store. The transitway routes branch off in two directions: westward to Kanata and Stittsville, and southward to Barrhaven. The western branch of the transitway from this point is currently incomplete, forcing westbound routes to use existing streets such as Carling Avenue and the Queensway.

Teron is an OC Transpo Transitway Station in Ottawa, Ontario. The station is located in the suburb of Kanata on Campeau Drive just east of the intersection with Teron Road from which it takes its name, which in turn was named after William Teron, who was responsible for developing Kanata. It is near the western off-ramp of Highway 417 at March Road and an overpass north of Eagleson Station and Park and Ride. Teron was officially included in the Transitway system in the 2007 fall schedules.

It used to be part of Queensway Terrace but in 1967, Highway 417 was built and split apart into Queensway Terrace North and South. The borders are to the east Southwood Drive, to the south Baseline Road, Queensway to the north and Greenbank Road to the west. Along with next-door Ridgeview, the neighbourhood is part of the Queensway Terrace South Ridgeview Community Association.
