Quinton Ferrell (born September 29, 1985) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Presbyterian College. [1]
Farrell played basketball for Presbyterian from 2003 to 2007. A team captain his senior year, he led the Blue Hose in assists and steals in his final two seasons. He was twice named the teams Most Valuable Defensive Player. [1]
After he graduated, he joined his alma mater as an assistant coach for five seasons. His first season, he helped transition Presbyterian from NCAA Division II status into NCAA Division I. He recruited two of the top scorers in school history, bringing in Khalid Mutakabbir and Al’Lonzo Coleman, who both earned All-Big South Conference two times in their careers. He joined The Citadel as an assistant coach in 2012, while his main focus working with the perimeter players. [2]
He then spent one season at Army as an assistant, working closely with the guards, before he joined the College of Charleston in 2014. [3] He would spend five seasons at CoC, helping to guide the Cougars to three consecutive 20-win seasons, and an NCAA Tournament berth. [4]
He was announced as the 19th head coach in school history at Presbyterian on April 11, 2019, after former head coach Dustin Kerns took the vacant head coaching position at Appalachian State. [5]

Presbyterian College (PC) is a private liberal arts college in Clinton, South Carolina, United States. It was founded in 1880 and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Norman Leslie Sloan Jr. was an American college basketball player and coach. Sloan was a native of Indiana and played college basketball and football at North Carolina State University. He began a long career as a basketball coach months after graduating from college in 1951, and he was the men's basketball head coach at Presbyterian College, The Citadel, North Carolina State University, and two stints at the University of Florida. Over a career that spanned 38 seasons, Sloan was named conference coach of the year five times and won the 1974 national championship at North Carolina State, his alma mater. He was nicknamed "Stormin' Norman" due to his combative nature with the media, his players, and school administrators, and his collegiate coaching career ended in controversy when Florida's basketball program was under investigation in 1989, though Sloan claimed that he was treated unfairly.
Harold Nichols is an American football coach and former player. He was the head football coach at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, from 2009 to 2016. Nichols played college football as a quarterback at Presbyterian from 1987 to 1989. He has worked an assistant football coach at Georgia Southern University, the University of Rhode Island, Bucknell University, and his alma mater, Presbyterian.

The school colors are garnet and blue, and the mascot is Scotty the Scotsman, a medieval Scottish warrior. The team name comes from the socks worn by the football team in the early days of the twentieth century.

Eugene Lionel Lorendo was an American college football and basketball coach, as well as a professional basketball player for one season. He played in the National Basketball League for the Oshkosh All-Stars in 1942–43, served as Presbyterian College's head men's basketball coach in 1950–51, but is perhaps most remembered for his twenty-five seasons spent as an assistant football coach for Auburn University between 1951 and 1975.
