Flynn Clayman (born September 27, 1988) is an American college basketball coach who is the associate head coach for the High Point Panthers.

Playing career

Clayman played his college career at Colorado State and Troy, where he played in 49 games starting in one. He averaged 2.9 points per game, 0.6 rebounds per game, and 0.4 assists per game. [1]

Coaching career

Clayman started his coaching career for the Southern Utah Thunderbirds as a special assistant. [2] Then he would be promoted to a full time assistant coach for the Thunderbirds. [3] Then he would again be promoted by the Thunderbirds this time to associate head coach. [4] [5] On March 13, 2023, after Todd Simon left for Bowling Green Clayman was named the interim head coach. [6] [7] [8] During his stint as the interim head coach he compiled a 2–1 record for the Thunderbirds. [9] From there, he was hired as the associate head coach for the High Point Panthers. [10] [11]

Smith for the remainder of the season, played their home games at the newly opened Qubein Center in High Point, North Carolina as members of the Big South Conference. The 2023–24 Bowling Green Falcons men's basketball team represented Bowling Green State University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Falcons, led by Todd Simon in his first year as head coach, played their home games at the Stroh Center in Bowling Green, Ohio as members of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the regular season 19–12, 10–8 in MAC play to finish in 5th place. They defeated Central Michigan in the first round of the MAC tournament before losing to Kent State in the second round. The Falcons received an invitation to play in the CIT where they were defeated by Purdue Fort Wayne in the opening round, bringing their final record to 20–14.

The 2023–24 Southern Utah Thunderbirds men's basketball team represented Southern Utah University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first-year head coach Rob Jeter and play their games at America First Event Center as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 10–21, 5–15 in WAC play to finish in tenth place, and thus they did not qualify to play in the WAC Tournament.

The 2023–24 WAC men's basketball season began with practices in October followed by the start of the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in early November 2023. The conference began play in late November 2023. This is the WAC's 62nd season of basketball. The WAC competed with 11 teams due to two teams having left the conference since the prior season. Both New Mexico State and Sam Houston State joined Conference USA effective July 1, 2023. The WAC tournament will be held March 13–16, 2024 with the top eight teams competing for the automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
