R. B. Gurudev is an Indian cinematographer, who has worked in the Tamil film industry.
After apprenticing under Jeeva, Gurudev made his debut with Yogi (2009), though TN 07 AL 4777 (2009) released earlier. [1] Gurudev's work has often won acclaim, the films he has worked on have often evaded commercial success. For his work in Chikku Bukku (2010), a critic from The Hindu noted that Gurudev "proves that he is from the late Jeeva's school, panning his camera in style he offers a brilliant visual treat". [2] [3] Likewise in Ameer's Aadhi Bhagavan , a critic wrote "whether it is the beaches of Pattaya, the deserts of Rajasthan, scenic Goa or Mumbai, cinematography by K. Devaraj and R. B. Gurudev is an absolute treat to the eye", and "each and every scene has been picturised tastefully". [4] Similarly, his work in Megha (2014), was described as one of the film's few "bright spots". [5]
Gurudev was involved in the making of the successful Kanchana 2 (2015) and completed eighty percent of the film's shoot. However a delay in the film meant that he was unable to continue shooting as he had committed to work on Irumbu Kuthirai (2014). Unwilling to wait, Raghava Lawrence decided to finish Kanchana 2 with another cinematographer, much to the annoyance of Gurudev. [6]

Gentleman is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language heist action film directed by S. Shankar, in his directorial debut, and produced by K. T. Kunjumon. The film stars Arjun Sarja, alongside Madhoo, Subhashri, M. N. Nambiar, Manorama, Goundamani, Senthil, Charan Raj, Vineeth, and Rajan P. Dev. Raghava Lawrence is an Indian actor, choreographer, film director, composer, playback singer, lyricist, film producer and philanthropist known for his works primarily in Tamil cinema. After making his debut as a dance choreographer in 1993, he began looking for acting opportunities. He began his career as an actor in 1998, in a Telugu film. He adopted the name "Raghava" in 2001, and worked for many prominent actors and directors in Tamil cinema throughout his career. He got his breakthrough with Telugu film Style and then Muni. Lawrence is also known for his intricate hip-hop and westernised dance moves and has won four Filmfare Awards, three Nandi Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Award for best choreography.
Karimanal Venkatesan Anand was an Indian cinematographer, film director and photojournalist, worked mainly in the Tamil film industry. After a short period as a journalist, he became a cinematographer in the early 1990s, working on about fifteen films in the Southern and Hindi cinema industries. Anand won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his debut film as a cinematographer, Thenmavin Kombath. In 2005, Anand turned film director with the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen. Anbazhagan, the film stars Jayam Ravi in the titular dual role as the hero (Aadhi) and villain (Bhagavan) along with Neetu Chandra, Saiju Kurup and Sudha Chandran. The film follows Aadhi, a Thailand-based gangster living separately from his mother and sister due to his criminal activities.
