RS Settat, also called Renaissance Sportive de Settat is a Moroccan football club located in the Moroccan city of Settat. Founded in 1946 the current Chairman is Rachid Azmy and the current manager is Abdellatif Killech.[ citation needed ]

Settat is a city in Morocco between the national capital Rabat and Marrakesh. Settat is located 83.9 km (52.1 mi) by road south of the centre of Casablanca, roughly an hour's drive. It is the capital of Settat Province and is its largest city in both size and population. According to the 2014 Moroccan census, it had a population of 142,250 people, up from 116,570 people in the 2004 census. Settat is 370 m (1,210 ft) above sea level, built on a plateau surrounded by foothills in all directions. Driss Benzekri is a retired Moroccan football goalkeeper who played most of his career at RS Settat. He played for the Morocco national football team and was the starting goalkeeper of the national team during the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Abdellatif Maazouz is a Moroccan politician of the Istiqlal Party. Between 2007 and 2012 he was Minister of Foreign Trade in the Cabinet of Abbas El Fassi. On 3 January 2012, he was appointed Delegate-Minister for Moroccans Living Abroad in the cabinet of Abdelilah Benkirane, he held this post until 9 July 2013, when his party members quit the government. On 22 September 2021, he was elected as the president of the Council of the Casablanca-Settat region.
